  1. I have a suggestion for a big run stuffing DT for the Bills... Marv - get 'er done! He's Lorn Mayers. Lorn Mayers (99) - Berlin Thunder (and LONDON BLITZ!) Age: 20 Height: 6-4 Weight: 320 Position: DT College: None How acquired: Nat/United Kingdom PRO CAREER: Returns for a second season in NFL Europe having played for the Berlin Thunder in 2005 at the age of 19… Saw action in five games last season… Became the youngest signing in NFL history in July, 2005, when he inked a deal with the Oakland Raiders at the age of 20… Was among the final cuts of Oakland’s training camp in September… Heads into the 2006 NFLEL season as one of the league’s most promising young international players. COLLEGE/AMATEUR: Played just one season of amateur football – for the London Blitz of the British American Football League – in 2004 before catching the eye of NFL Europe League scouts. PERSONAL: Has worked as an NFL analyst and presenter in the United Kingdom for Channel Five, Sky Sports and the BBC… During one filming session in September, he met William ‘The Refrigerator’ Perry… Born in London and lives in Edmonton… Hobbies include playing and watching basketball and listening to music.
  2. Great news. I like Ryan Denney. That's our 3 DEs sorted then. A few more for Camp fodder and we'll be all set.
  3. I dunno - I wasn't a Drew fan last year... But there's something about the big ol' lug that I realy like. Even in NE I kinda liked the way he played. I was nuts about him in Buffalo. And I feel like this season, even as a Cowpoke - I could like Drew a lot again. He's classy.
  4. GREAT news... Stay healthy Chris... I've got everything crossed for you.
  5. Thank you all for your kind words. They mean more than you know. You are my extended support netowrk!
  6. Hey all - please keep my wife's family in your prayers. Her Mom died today suddenly aged 53. We had no prior warning. It's been a hell of a day. The worst I can ever imagine. She's holding up as best as can be expected. Her Dad is hanging tough - but he's devastated. I know y'all will keep us in your thoughts during this tough time. N
  7. Afraid not. After the afternoon it's time for liquor and the Ballet. And maybe some puking in the parking lot at Danny's.
  8. Guff - I'll drink a pint for Mike tonight.
  9. Yup - and in between we have a snooze and maybe some cake.
  10. No surprise that they are looking at STs... Marv's a HUGE fan of the Kicking Teams - it makes absolute sense he would treat this area as well as the other two.
  11. Only at the weekends. All other times I am in a pretty pink skirt and have eyelash extenders.

  13. No way do you replace Moulds with a 4th Rd draft pick... Too far fetched. I am no fan of your draft - AT ALL. Similarly - I say 'NO' to Arrington - mainly because in the real world there is no way Marv would go for a guy like that. I also disagree that we have a hole at RT - Peters is going to start 16 games there - the holes are at G and C and (next year) LT.
  14. I like the Browns - and their moves so far have me liking them more.
  15. I like this. Could be motivation for JP - definately at least some competition... In the JP vs KH debate i am with JP. I can't stand that no-necked noodle arm Holcomb. If Nall makes the pair of them work, and can inspire JP with Farve anecdotes and advice, then all the better. I've Nalled my colours to the mast now.
  16. Well - i'm not as relaxed as I might be about this... I'm keeping it in mind that we really are early in Free Agency - there WILL be more cuts and movements that could well bring more FA talent to the table. When you look down our roster we have a number of holes. Yeah the OL and DL are a priority - but you have to get a full roster or talent - so having not addressed it yet is fine. FA is a marathon, not a sprint. Also - you might also wanna see how the Draft shakes out. With so much happening (see Miami and NO QB situation) that could affect the way the draft works out, it seems to be to be pretty wise to take a deep breath and evaluate, evaluate, evaluate. Big names are great - but what we need right now is talent and talent we can count on deep into the season and into years to come.
  17. This thread is a sense-talking haven for me... good stuff.
  18. Ok - well from what I read so far I am not concerned. Critically EM has not said anything himself - it is all his agent. This is all negotiation - and right now both sides have a great winning story lined up. Moulds is under contract for a ton of money and will play if things stay the way they are. The Bills would like to restructure - but if they don't, they still have a productive WR in the mix. This will clear up by the end of the week. Only thing that bugs me. No one spoke to TKO yet from the Bills. :|
  19. yes - the classic british silent 'g' in place of 'h'
  20. Opening scrimmage for the Parmesans in TBDE will be against the Teeth - Britains entry to TBDE...
  21. Yet another fuggin reason to detest work. And yet another fuggin reason to continue work on wireless internet played straight into my brain...
  22. Hmm - I'm not 100% sure I have the vocabulary and mental capacity to delivery a really scatging kicking... My wonderlic is probably in the 0-4 range.
  23. Just an update from the National Player programme. Being exepmt from cuts under the National Player programme I am delighted to stay with TBD/TSW - it's my goal some day to be a starter, but for now I'm gonna work hard in NFLE, get some posting experience and come into training camp ready to post my ass off. I still have a lot to learn in terms of terminology and how we play this posting game, which is alien to my home turf, but I'm sure my pure posting ability will make the transition someday soon. Tally ho!
  24. I dont wanna piss on your parade - but we all made those excuses for Mike Williams last last offseason.
