Bills may host 2007 Regular Season game in Europe
nick in* england replied to MikeH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FECKING GET IN!!! COME TO ME BABY! COME TO ME! The head of the NFL in Europe is a Bills fan - and a member of my Bills Backers... Wembly Stadium - the site of my first ever Bills game is so ready to host and NFL game again. I WISH so hard that it's gonna be Buffalo. Other reasons this is a great idea: back in the day, the NFL would give an additional $1M to the teams participating. Expect that to increase. Also - Wembley would sell out in a heart beat - that's a full 70,000 fans paying money to be there - and that's a lot of money for the Bills if they are the home team. It wouldn't be blacked out in Buffalo. There is only good to come from this. [/bIAS] -

Scalping isn't worth it at Premiership games - wayyyyyy too many dodgy tickets around. Best bet is to go for seats in a corner of the pitch. Best view of all of the action. Don't sit too low. PM me - I have a friend of a friend who works for Arsenal and I might be able to hook you up.

Please all of you look at the NFL.com replay of that last play. Whether a play was called or not, the blocking by our TE's got us f*cked because JP had their RE in his face within 2 seconds, on a 5 step drop, and had to roll. Nothing's open either cos it's only a 4 man rush... I think Pennington is culpable too - because Royal was totally isolated and got whipped, and then Ceislak whiffed his block.

Kicks into the wind yesterday at the Ralph
nick in* england replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It depends where on the field they where when he scrambles and what the scamble drill is. Normally if you are at the sideline close to the QB you turn up field, far away you come back, etc. It's probably more complicated in the NFL based on roll direction, coverage, game situation, etc, but that'll be why there are 2 guys deep. I have seen the play - and the fundamental breakdown on the play was having 2 TE's attempt and fail to block a pass rusher on the outside. Look at the NFL.com highlights. You see most of the OL do a great job (damn Jason Peters schools his guy), but royal and then Ceislak just plain whiff. -
Thanks guys (and gals). All this amounts to is a merry f*cking christmas.

WHY, OH WHY, do you not kick the field goal from the 28 Yard line on 4th and 5 with a minute remaining? 45 Yards is WELL within Lindell's range. And since he made virtually the same kick going the SAME way in the 2nd Quarter, I am not buying that the wind caused it.

No love for Junior Floyd from Little Giants? Pros: Can gun a toilet roll the entire length of a supermarket, led the Little Giants to an unbelievable win over the Cowboys, kisses Icebox - who turned into a total babe (see here: http://www.imdb.com/gallery/hh/0907323/iid...20Shawna&seq=2) Cons: Injured, kisses Icebox - which is not cool when you are 11

ADHD and ADD are completely different things. The questions and response I think so far have been about ADD. All too often children with Attention Deficit Disorder are mistakenly taken to have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and as a result given medication to control hyperactivity that that don't need. My wife is a primary school teacher, and through experience tells me that ADHD almost always required medication to control the hyperactivity, but ADD can often be addressed creatively in the classroom with different learning techniques and aids. An example: A child in her class right now has 'classic signs' of ADD. He won't stop fiddling with his clothes, he can't sit in one position and listen to a story, his attention cannot be held on learning taks for extended periods. His behavious is not bad, and he is not disruptive. But he is not developing at the same rate as the other kids because he can't concentrate long enough for it all to sink in. The simple solution my wife devised? She gave him a small piece of play-doh to mould in his hand during carpet sessions and desk based learning. The kid now sits still, listens, learns, and is developing at the expected rate. All because his ADD is now focussed on a small piece of play-doh, whoch free's his mind to learn. This is a pretty simple solution, but demonstrates how low-level a treatment can be. The kid in her class with ADHD doesn't just fiddle when he's hyper - he runs around, under tables, screams, shouts, pulls hair, throws books, and will not calm down. Now a little ball of play-doh won't fix him, and a combo of medication and therapy is helping manage his problems. But it's horses for courses, and alwayts worth getting the right diagnosis. ADD and ADHD are completely different animals and need to be considered differently.

Agreed - that's why we've won games (or gone close) without getting loads of 1st Downs. But it's not a good sign - and it indicates we've been too conservative so far. Some more industrious person than I might analyse the number of first downs over the first 6 games as compared to the last 7 to see how those 189 are spread out. -

haha - good stuff. I like presenting the facts, juxtaposing some of the facts against other facts, without comment, and seeing the reaction. FWIW - I think we are having a good season for what is ostensibly a rebuilding season. The first batch of stats are great news, that demonstrates we obviously have some very talented players on our team. The middle stats demonstrate that we don't have a fully cohesive team yet, despite the very good players we have in places. The end stat made me laugh - I came across it by accident when I was browsing the Jets results against us in past years. BUT tt's a strange coincidence that New England in 2003 (not 2004, my bad) was a lock for the playoffs as division winner and we played and lost to them on the last day of the year. This time we face Baltimore, who look to be a lock for the playoffs as division winners too. It's this kind of analysis that helps us understand football better. If only we knew what it means. -
Aaron Schobel leads the NFL in sacks. London Fletcher is 3rd in the NFL in tackles (only 7 off 1st). JP Losman (12th in NFL passer rating) has a better rating than Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Matt Hasselbeck, Steve McNair, Matt Leinart and Michael Vick. Lee Evans is 8th of NFL recievers (5th AFC). Terence McGee is 4th in NFL KO return yard avg (despite missing time). Roscoe Parrish is 2nd in NFL punt return avg. Brian Moorman leads the NFL in avg net punt yardage. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The Buffalo Bills have a league worst 189 first downs. Only Oakland and Tampa Bay have fewer offensive yards than the Buffalo Bills. ---------------------------------------------------------------- In 2004, after beating the NY Jets in week 14 to get their 6th win of the season, the Buffalo Bills lost all three remaining games (including losses against Miami and Tennessee) to finish 6-10 on the year.

Sorry Hammer - next year for sure. My friend I was with was being a baby and started to refuse to go see people I know out there. It was kinda tense for a bit... I didn't get all the things done I really wanted to. What's the deal with BTI and you? Some guys there said there was an issue between the Hammer and BTI...? -

Oh did I add that drinks costs about a quarter what they do here in London...? OF COURSE I'll be back. The bars weren't crappy - just not as GREAT as billed. But they were good times nonetheless. You should try being British in Buffalo
