I just watched some game highlights again and noticed Schobel rushing the passer from a 2 point stance. How often has he done this so far this season - and can anyone think why they would have him in a 2 rather than a 3 point stance?? It just seems weird to me to have our best pass rusher lined up in a position where his momentum is not automatically forward to aid his rush.... I think - and this may make a little sense - that it seems to be happening in nickel packages where there are only 2 LBs in - but this still seems weird. Anyone help me out here? From my own experience at DE - i used to go from a 2 when i was getting dominated by the tackle and wanted to increase my field of vision to help in run support - but Schobel seems to do it in obvious passing situations...

OK OK - i hear what y'all are saying - and no dobut he is a good MLB - but the guy just pisses me off a lot. He's meant to be a great LB - one of the best in the league and certainly on a par with Spikes, yet he consistently does dumbass things that negate his stellar play in the middle. I don't want to trade him - but he seriously pisses me off like no other Bill does. Not a cancer - just a nasty itch you can't scratch Then again, I've always disliked under-sized MLBs...

Does our all-world LB London Fletcher want to get any more irritating?? His performance this year has been ridiculous - stupid penalties, often, combined with dreadful coverage skills just makes me shake my head at him. I thought he was better than all this...

Nice points - but who really gives a damn about progress? Particularly in season. I want the to win NOW. I want them to make the playoffs and make the superbowl. Feasible, likely, or not - that's what I want right now. Whatever it takes... I want wins now.
