Fair question after all the heat he's received all week, including from me. Give him credit. I thought he would play prevent (the win) defense. He didn't.
Maybe it's unfair to blame it all on McDermott, but he's the one calling soft defenses, playing "I just love dancing!" Miller, and calling timeouts whenever he gets nervous.
McDermott: Wasted time outs.
McDermott: Doesn't trust his kicker to kick 62 yards.
Why is he a head coach? Someone remind me. Has he made any good decisions this year, like, at all?
Allen is just so competitive, he simply cannot take a sack or thrown an incompletion on third down. He takes crazy risks in those situations, always has. I think we just need to accept that as part of the package. Works for me.
