  1. Yeah, he should be blocking and catching the balls he throws. And why isn't he playing defense? What a loser.
  2. Does anyone think we're going to win this game?
  3. We need another playmaker besides Allen, on offense or defense. Who else do we have?
  4. Maybe it's unfair to blame it all on McDermott, but he's the one calling soft defenses, playing "I just love dancing!" Miller, and calling timeouts whenever he gets nervous.
  5. Take a timeout, McDermott! You'll feel much better, which is what counts.
  6. 'Cause he looks so pretty? I can't think of another reason.
  7. Holding is such a drive-killer in the NFL. That just took all our momentum away.
  8. McDermott: Wasted time outs. McDermott: Doesn't trust his kicker to kick 62 yards. Why is he a head coach? Someone remind me. Has he made any good decisions this year, like, at all?
  9. 7 points in an entire half to one of the best offenses in the league. Let's get some perspective here.
  10. McDermott calls the timeouts to calm himself. He gets nervous.
  11. I'd say it's a reason, but not the most important one.
  12. Allen is just so competitive, he simply cannot take a sack or thrown an incompletion on third down. He takes crazy risks in those situations, always has. I think we just need to accept that as part of the package. Works for me.
  13. Von instead of Rousseau. Do I need to elaborate?
  14. Nightmare scenario. Prevent defense for the rest of the game.
  15. Play not to lose. The McDermott way. Maybe they'll miss the field goal!!
  16. Scrutiny has never deterred biased refereeing in the past. You can see why. Fans scream, media figures tut tut, then it's all forgotten. Money changes hands, and all is well in corruption land.
  17. So evidently in the 13-second game, McDermott a) seized the play calling; b) called the soft defense that lost the game; d) refused to take responsibility; and 3) implicitly blamed the players and other coaches. Wow. And this insecure, uptight man, far more scared of losing than intent on winning, is the head coach of a generational Bills team. Do we prefer losing out and ridding ourselves of this man or winning out and being saddled with him forever? How about a compromise: The players approach him with a bargain: We won't turn on you, but you take a back seat on this team. Go along for the ride or get out.
  18. Even more than usual, I'm hoping for a blowout win. Besides the statement it would make, a blowout is the only way to keep McDermott's sweaty hands off the team in the final minutes.
  19. If he had connected with Davis on that last throw, that would have been five touchdowns and a thrilling overtime win that even Allen haters couldn't diminish. No worries. He just needs to keep trucking. I just hope his team or coaches don't let him down, like in the 13 seconds game. He was on fire in those playoffs.
  20. Allen had four touchdowns and over 400 yards passing and running in the Philly game, playing in a hostile stadium in the rain with biased refs, and the media narrative focused on his one interception. Meanwhile, Mahomes, with low production, is getting headlines like "Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is having his best season since 2019 in two key areas." Searching for something--anything--good to say about Mahomes and anything to say bad about Allen.
  21. When you hear a oft-repeated "truth," it's a good exercise to flip the first and second clauses, just for a reality check. In the case of the Allen narrative, rather than, "Sure, he's a great quarterback, but he's a turnover machine," you get "Sure, he throws interceptions, but he's a touchdown machine." Bias exposed. Cheers to Greenberg for not being a sheep like his colleagues.
