  1. The governor knows what's up. Not sure what defense the rest of you have been watching. But Edmunds CAN NOT tackle to save his life.
  2. Tonyan's a beast. He is most definitely worth our 2nd round pick. Did anyone who disagrees even watch him play for the Pack last year? He is exactly what we need at TE.
  3. No it wouldn't. Edmunds is a lousy football player. (Because he is 6'5 and has dreads makes him look cool I guess for some people) Guy can't tackle. And he has no instincts on where the play is going. Maybe he will improve this season. But building our defense around him has been a bad idea IMHO. Trade him for Ertz and plug someone else in at MLB.
  4. That's why we need to draft Etienne or Najee Harris with our top pick. Our RB's are the epitome of mediocrity. Get a stud in here and trade Singletary. He is small and on the slow side. Heck resign Yeldon and actually play him. He has tread on his tires and is actually good.
  5. The Pats have no QB. Cam and Stidham both suck. Neither Jonnu Smith or Hunter Henry is Gronk or anything close to him. And the Pats lost their best O lineman. Come next fall we will be ready to take on all comers. We will get a couple more weapons on offense and be much improved on Defense. We went 13-3 and I believe Beane McDermott and the entire coaching staff will self evaluate on how we can be a better team. Not resigning Levi Wallace is a start. The guy was marginal at best. And obviously the weak link on our defense. He has a low ceiling because he is just not much of an athlete. Keeping the O line together and bringing back Milano is a good start. I believe we will fill in the missing pieces over the next few weeks and months. I think we either sign a veteran RB or WR in free agency. Maybe both. And if not, our first pick could very well be a high powered RB or WR. We can still use more weapons, because football is still about outscoring teams.
  6. What's with your hard on for the Pats? Cam Newton was an absolute embarrassment last year. He is terrible. I seem to recall us mopping up their stadium with them last December in a beat down as bad as any I have seen in a long time. All their opt outs are a year older also. Their mystique is done!!
  7. He paid his dues. Was suspended for 6-8 games. These are young guys. Things sometimes get out of hand a bit when young people are partying. Not condoning what he did. But Joe Mixon got a second chance after knocking out the gal at Oklahoma. If he keeps his nose clean, and continues to behave, he would be a great pick up for us. Its pro football. Its not tea w the Royal Family. Lets not forget that.
  8. Good point. Nothing wrong w running a little bit more. Keep the opposing defenses guessing. Especially the good ones. 2nd and less then 5 always seem like a good down to run.
  9. Feliciano is a tough guy who plays w bad intentions. Guys like that are a must if you want to be a physical team. Personally I would let Ford Boettger and Feliciano battle it out for the 2 starting Guard positions. And Feliciano can play center also. As for the running game, it wasn't terrible. But it definitely was not very good either. And w resigning Williams and Feliciano, maybe we go RB in the 1st round. Etienne or Najee Harris would look real nice in a Bills uniform!!
  10. I agree about Kyle. He had great quickness getting off the ball and causing disruption in the opposing teams backfield. He was an awesome player. Hopefully Ed Oliver can start showing more of those Kyle Williams traits next season.
  11. He should have been cut after the regular season Chiefs game. Could not anchor against the run if his life depended on it. I think he had 3 good snaps all season. I believe one was a sack against the Raiders.
  12. Way too much is made about playing 1 tech v 3 tech etc. The guy weighs well over 300 pounds. He should be able to play stout and strong in the middle of the D line regardless of where he lines up. You can either play or you can't. If he can't there is always the UPS loading dock. Not sure why all the Vernon Butler apologists on here. The guy is being paid millions to be a DT. He was decent at times last year but never dominant. Hopefully if we keep him around, he steps his game up several levels on a consistent basis. Its not like the Bills were asking him to return punts for gods sake. Its football. Its a man's game supposedly played by some tough SOB's. At least it used to be. Lets not forget that on here. Get it together Vernon and show Bills Nation (hate the term Bills Mafia) that you belong on our 53 man roster, and start kicking some booty on a regular basis.
  13. I always thought the Raiders cheerleaders were the hottest. Sexy with lots of T & A, and some edginess prancing around the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum!! Now that is a beautiful sight in my mind. I don't care what era we are now supposedly in!!
  14. Thats touching man. Great spirit for your team and your mom!! God bless you and your family:)
  15. LOL You sure he is a top 5 QB?? Team went 4-12 last season. And don't tell me that a lot of that doesn't fall on Mr Baby Desean Watson!! Never seen so much hype about a guy who has not won anything in the NFL. He has his moments, don't get me wrong. But just because he runs around a lot in the backfield doesn't make him a top 5 QB. He needs to shut his mouth, and get to work turning the Houston Texans around. Right now it doesn't look like the Texans are going to trade him. They seriously may let him sit his ass this coming season. He is making big bucks. He needs to become the leader of the team and rally the players around him and the new coach. There is no guarantee when you get drafted that you are going to play in a great situation your entire career. Athletes today are so coddled. He got his money. Now start acting like the leader you are supposed to be. Instead of the baby B word you acted like after fumbling at the end of the Colts game and sat crying on the bench. Today's QB's are something. They barely get hit, and make big money for mediocre play. And then they whine and cry about not liking their team. I can still remember Boomer Esiason laying motionless on the Rich Stadium frozen turf after Bruce just crushed his head on a big blind side sack in the early 90's Bam that was football. And Boomer did not even ask to be traded after that. Imagine that. Just wanted to put some old school Paup football perspective on stuff Mark 80.
  16. Good thoughts in your post. Morse has been a solid pass protector. And we are a passing team at this point. I guess I like my center to be a bit more of a mauler as well. I disagree w your first premise. So it falls apart for me from there. I will take Dawkins in that spot as our best lineman. Thought he made great strides this past season. And I just happen to like Feliciano's style of play more. Morse doesn't suck. He just has not dominated like I was hoping he would.
  17. Foolish?? He has been mediocre the past two years. Doesn't suck, but he is a big reason why we can't run consistently well up the middle. (And we can save money that needs to go to other positions by cutting him) When it comes down to it, Feliciano is a tougher hard nosed blocker then Morse. An interior starting line of Boettger Feliciano and Ford, and adding a FA or draft pick to compete at Guard would be solid.
  18. He will be banged up before the season starts. The guy was the leader of a defense for a team that went 4-12 and gave up a whole bunch of yards and points. Everyone says the Texans have a lousy organization. Well the players are part of that lousy organization that went 4-12 last season. So maybe Watt and Watson are not as good as a lot want to say, because they were the leaders of a 4-12 team. All I remember is Watson sitting on the bench crying with a towel over his head after he fumbled inside of the Indy 5 yard line at the end of the game. That's a hell of a leader-not. (Don't think Jimbo would have done that)
  19. Thats a fair assessment of Kent Hull. I thought he was a little better then just those numbers. Always a class act, and one of my favorite Bills from that era. But I understand where you are coming from. Would put him at least on the level of Kyle Williams in Bills lore.
  20. If you watch enuf football over a lot of years, as a fan you get a feel for who has had a HOF career, and who was really good but not at that top level. I think Rivers was pretty dam good in his heyday. A real gamer too. I think he gets in eventually. Def not a first year or two guy. But the guy could play. Heck he still looked good against us in the playoff game. That being said. Cam Newton is nowhere near a HOF player. He had some big years, and then became very mediocre due to injuries. And last year he embarrassed himself.. I think Greg Olson Cam's TE has a better chance of getting in then Cam when all is said and done. And he is certainly not a lock, but has a shot.
  21. Kent Hull had a helluva career. And he was a leader on the championship teams. He should be given consideration.
  22. Nice post Fig. I has always liked Yeldon going back to his days at Bama. I would keep him over Singletary if I had to make a choice. The guy is not a star, but he can play RB at a decent level in the NFL. I would go w him, Moss and either draft Najee or bring someone else in, and give Antonio Williams a chance also. I would trade Singletary if possible.
  23. Many of our defensive players were downright lousy last year. Did either Addison Jefferson or Butler do anything that you could even consider being memorable or game changing the entire season? And you could put Edmunds in there also. Heck I would say that Klein and Zimmer made more plays then the other 4 just mentioned. We need upgrades on defense. That's obvious. Now do Sherman and Watt upgrade the roster much? I very much doubt it, especially Sherman. He is old and slow at this point. JJ can be a beast. Just not game in and game out. Play in and play out. The culture is great. We just need better play from our defense.
  24. The Falcon fans just want a winner. The last 3 years have been terrible. While Matt Ryan has not sucked. His mojo is definitely on the downside ever since the Super Bowl loss 4 years ago. A change will be coming soon enuf once Ryan's ridiculous contract can be sent packing without the dead cap money completely crippling the team. As for Field, the Dawgs have JT Daniels who will do just fine for them. In today's college game, everyone wants to play now. Fields thought the Buckeyes gave him a better chance to play right away. He didn't disappoint until the Nat title game. And then he took a royal beat down. Roll Tide.
