  1. Not sure about that logic - The AFL was a different league than the NFL, but was not a minor league to the NFL. The Bills championships in 64 & 65 were as high as the Bills could go in their league.
  2. My 4 - 2 each: Lou Saban Marv Levy Scottie Bowman Lindy Ruff Not the only championship winning franchise in Buffalo: let's not discount the 2 AFL Championships that the Bills won in the 60's..
  3. In this crazy time and while we are all hoping for a full NFL season, I've found a sign from above that this will be Buffalo's year. https://www.aol.com/article/news/2020/05/21/woman-attacked-by-bison-at-yellowstone/24376714/ Seriously, stay safe everyone! Go Bills!
  4. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Buffalo Bills original glory days!
  5. Would love to see Bryce Hall drop to us in round 4
  6. There are three running backs (Swift, Dobbins, Taylor) and two edge rushers (Espenza, Gross-Matos) that really interest me at 54. If any of those 5 fall to the Bills, it would be great! After those 5 players, and its possible that all 5 are gone at 54, I'd go for the BPA.
  7. I like Clyde Edwards-Helaire from LSU. I know he's short, but he catches the ball so well and runs tougher than his height that I think he would work well for the Bills. I'm not sure about pass protection from him, which is a concern, but most backs out of college are lacking in that skill.
  8. My father worked at Roswell Park and we used to park there and walk to the stadium. I saw multiple Bills games there, one UB Bulls game, and many Buffalo Bison (baseball) games there. The very short right field porch with the tall fence / net there was cool. I believe that the movie "The Natural" was filmed there. It was a cool place and really enjoyed my visits there.
  9. I'd take CJ Spiller and Donte Whitner off that list. Other than that, it's a good list.
  10. I agree it might be hard to accept, but I don't see any teams who would be looking to bring him in as a starter, unless the starter gets hurt. The other advantage for Cam if he signed with the Bills is he'll be going to a team with a legit shot at the Super Bowl. If any team looks at him as a starter, I doubt they are any better than an 8-8 team.
  11. I like Barkley and he's an average QB at best. Although I may be ripped here, I'd like to see the Bills give Cam Newton a try. I think a 1 year deal on a reasonable contract would be a smart investment and works for both Cam & the Bills. For the Bills: With Josh being a QB that runs a fair amount, the chance of injury is higher than many. Cam gives you a QB with similar skills who can run the same offense. He also provides a veteran presence in the QB room and might take a 10 million dollar 1 year deal. For Cam: The big question for him is health. Taking a back-up job for a year allows him to get healthier and on a 1 year deal provides him the chance to move somewhere as a starter.
  12. I like this move as well as the Spain resigning. Hopefully, he returns to a level that she showed early in his career and provides some relief for out future TE Knox.
  13. Good news! I like having all 5 starters back -- more cohesiveness as a team!
  14. With an assumption that you can not be sure who may be available - Here you go: 1. A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa 2. Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC 3. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
  15. I have not seen alot of video on Shenault so help me out. Should the 4.55 speed figure be a concern? At that figure, I don't see him being able to get open downfield. Maybe that's not his thing, but it's a factor to think about. Maybe he has other skills that make up for this item. I heard that, right now, he's got a 3rd round grade, but depending upon the underwear olympics (aka the Combine) he could move up or down a round.
  16. I appreciate all the hard work you put in on these Primers. I think you have done an excellent job and really appreciate it. I am a big Kevin Johnson fan and would love to see him earn the #2 corner spot. I understand why we may not want to resign two :over 30" safeties at their next contracts, but I am for keeping one for continuityand veteran experience. Which one, that's the good question.
  17. Good topic, but this link leads to a page last updated in July of 2019. It misses a season of information. That said Juedy appears to be the best, but long gone by the time the Bills pick. I like Pittman from USC in round 2 or 3. Shenault is certainly a good round 1 candidate, but will he be there?
  18. Don't pony up big bucks for him. I don't like players who tell everyone how good they are rather than how good the team they play on is. This could be another player who, once he gets paid with his last season being his only big one, track back to where he was. I.E, Albert Haynesworth
  19. Back to wideouts -- I am surprised Jefferson from LSU isn't rated higher. I like what I've seen. That said Jeudy and Lamb are the class of the wideouts, but both will we gone in the top 15.
  20. Thanks for looking at this. I don't have the stats, but I thought Hauschka was no worse than average and maybe a little above average on kickoffs. I'm ok if he stays. Bojorquez is a "gots to go" for me.
  21. Bottom Line: Hauschka was not a problem yesterday and he's a keeper for next year. I would have loved to see him get that OT chance, but it was not to be. The Bills will have a tougher schedule in the coming season so we'll need to play better and make the plays when we need to. Although most people will not agree, I saw alot of improvement from Josh Allen thru this season and that will need to continue. It will. Division title next year -- go Bills!
  22. The four players I see right away are Spain, Phillips, Lawson, and Johnson. I would not break the bank on any of them. I'd next look at special teamers.
  23. That was a BS call and Booger is BS for supporting it.
  24. I continue to be impressed by Singletary. The offense would have been no where without him today. it was a smart move to release Shady (although I do love him) and we'll need to get a 2nd RB next year as I do not see bringing Gore back.
  25. Too many! Some missed open receivers as well, but there was key drops.
