  1. I'm right with you on Shepard -- he's been invisable all season. None of the Bills LBs are playing well.
  2. I went to a Bills game in Arizona many years ago when they still played in Sun devil stadium. The Bills Backers out there took great care of us with a golf tournement and a couple of happy hours. The hotel we were in was packed with Bills fans and the Bills won as well. A great weekend. I won't be able to make it this year, but maybe another time. Enjoy yourself!
  3. These decisions aren't usually made based upon only football, but also about money. I'm not sure about the money owed these guys and any accelerated bonus to the cap should one be cut. If all else is equal -- i think it's Edwards.
  4. But can Danny become that "Franchise" long snapper -- here we go again!
  5. You should be sharing what your drinking -- A team that has yet to play a game is the best team in franchise history. History has yet to be written for this crew. talk to me when they have done something. Ridiculous
  6. There is a reason he is available, even though he has put up good numbers in some seasons. He's not a good guy.
  7. The old Rockpile was what I thought of when I saw the post subject. It was a wonderful place for a kid to go toa game. I saw the Bills, UB Bulls, anf the Bisons baseball there. Brings back great memories of going there with my dad!
  8. I agree - why worry about somethign that is ot necessary to worry about. When a player is entering the last year of a deal is when you start to worry about resigning, especially when a player has not been on the field long enough to worry about. So far Woods performance shows I'd like to keep him, but want to see a full year of action before I do that.
  9. Cookie was a beast! You had to see him to appreciate the raw power he generated from the RB position. The o9ldtimers will tell you of his exploits - was not the best of attitudes, but just magnificent with a ball in his hands.
  10. Just to add my 2 cents Brady YES Sanchez NO Tannehill NO Weeden NO Flacco NO Big Ben yes Dalton yes Schaub yes Luck yes Hasselback no Gabbert no Manning yes Palmer yes Rivers yes Cassell no I've got .... 8 yes 7 no He's middle of the pack -- about what i would think.
  11. I'm late to the show, but here's mine: 1. Mike Stratton 2. Cookie Gilcrist 3. Jim Kelly 4. Steve Tasker 5. Thurman Thomas
  12. Not someone the Bills should want. Early in his career he worked hard -- not so much now.
  13. I'm thinking Linebacker followed shortly by O-Tackle. What scares me about our LB corp is the unknown. I'm not sure we know if they will be successful in our 4-3. Sheppard is unproven as a MLB I'm not buying anyone other than Barnett as a OLB until they prove it.
  14. I'm not sure I understand "success under Gailey" comment. If I have the details right, Thigpen was 1-10 as a starter at KC -- does not sound very successful to me.
  15. In talking about Vince Young, here's a quote from the News on back-up QBs currently available: "The list of veteran free-agent quarterbacks still on the market is thin. Some of the QBs available beside Young include: ex-Steeler Dennis Dixon, 27; ex-Redskin John Beck, 31; ex-Charger Billy Volek, 36; ex-Ram A.J. Feeley, 35; and ex-Jaguar Luke McCown, 31". Given that group, I understand why we worked out Vince Young when I at first did not see it. This group is really sad. Tyler Thigpen, who is well down any list of QBs, fits right in with this group. We need to find a back-up and I don't see anyone in this group providing a solid choice. We may need to wait until training camp cuts to find someone.
  16. I'd rather have Bobby Massey than Martin, but either would be good -- I'd also like a wideout, but only if Ruben randle or Stephen Hill are available. Then again, to throw a real monkey wrench into it -- what if Coby Feener (sp?) is available.
  17. +1 on Bobby Massie -- He is the guy, but I am not sure he will be available at #41.
  18. Bobbie Massey - OT -- if we can get him in round 2 - He will be our LT for the next 10 years if draft him.
  19. It really depends upon who they get with pickes in rounds 1 & 2. If I assume thay take Michael Floyd in round 1 and Bobbie massey in round 2, then I select Kirk Cousins with pick #71.
  20. Hope so -- My first two choices, unless by a miracle Kahil falls to 10, which I doubt.
  21. Spot on comment. Urbik can play center adequetely as a back-up. We really got hit at O-line with injuries last year. If that happens again we'll be in trouble, but you can only have so much depth.
  22. Bobbie Massey would work fo rme!
  23. I was initially strongly against the Bills making a play for DeCastro with the #10 pick because I think they are set at the interior O-Line, but the more I look and hear about him, the more interesting DeCastro becomes. I like Levitre alot and he has been very good for the Bills at guard. I know they tried last season and it was not good looking, but with a full preseason at it, could Levitre make it at left tackle? If he could and the Bills took DeCastor, they would have an great O-Line -- one of the best in the NFL. Just wondering.
  24. Nope -- I don't see him falling to 7, but would not jump up.
  25. I agree -- if Tannehill is avail, the Bills phones will be ringing and they should answer.
