  1. Actually, I like the week we had Goose and Moose with Stockton.
  2. And I would say two things: 1 - Who the "F" is Heath Evans 2 - Why the heck to I care what he thinks.
  3. Good Summary! I also think the Bills coaching was poor today. It was obvious that Dixon was not a factor when flanked out, yet those plays were called. It was time to go with 4 wideouts who knew how to play out there.
  4. The Jets are playing Buffalo next week -- You know what that means -- Bad News for the Jets!
  5. I like Nelson a lot and he may be a better receiver than Easley, but Easley is a beast on special teams and that is important as well. Special teams are why Easley is on the team at all and they are an important part of the game. unless Nelson can play on our woeful O-line, we don't need him
  6. We had a good trio for the Pats game -- Stockton, Moose, & Goose. I guess sometimes you get the better announce team and sometimes you don't when you are team that is not considered top shelf.
  7. A very touching story! Makes me glad that Godwin is a member of the Buffalo Bills. Nice to have good people on your team!
  8. Talking heads -- blah, blah, blah. I'm sure Greeny has the Jets will 8-10 games.
  9. While I agree that the Bears will crowd the line of scrimmage and jam recievers, I do not think they will blitz. I think they will play the short zones and tempt the Bills to go deep. Until EJ and Hackett demonstrate that they will call and complete some deep balls, this is what they will see.
  10. Sorry if there is another thread on this, but I did not see one. I can't believe that the Bills think that they have a strong enough roster to carry a freakin kickoff specialist. The talent level on this club top to bottom is not good enough to warrant taking up a roster spot for someone who just kicks off. Given how much the offense scored this reseason, this guy might kickoff only a couple of times a game. A 3rd QB (given that our backup doesn't know the playbook and the starter missed 6 game last yeat) might have been useful or another O-lineman or Landon Cohen would have been much better. The Bills are not a good enough team to carry such a specialist. STUPID DECISION!!
  11. As the Bills evaluate a new punrter, Jordan Gay, as compared to old faithful, Brian Moorman, should the skils of either as a holder also be evaluated. From what I have seen, Moorman does a very good job as a holder getting the ball down regardless of the snap. I think that is one small reason why Dan Carpenter was successful. I think the holder position is one that is overlooked and if you don;t have a good one, it could cost you points. Considering how effective the Bills are in the Red zone, having a good kicking game is important. Just some food for thought.
  12. Marone: The best wings are at the Anchor Bar Whaley: No they are at Duff's and don' even get me started on Beef on Weck
  13. Agreed. I do not see the Vikings trading a player (Ponder) that has started multiple games in the NFL for a player (Hogan) who never has started a game and is not considered a number 1 or a number 2 receiver, by anyone.
  14. Let's throw the hat in for Colt Brennan, if we are looking for dumb suggestions.
  15. If the Bills keep two kickers, it will be a moronic move rivaling any dumb move Buddy ever made. Almost a dumb as wasting the draft pick on Hoplins to begin with. The team is not that talented to be able to afford the two kicker luxury. Carpenter is our kicker - his kick-offs are good enough.
  16. Bottom line on this item to me is Benefit vs. Risk. Just1 bad snap can change the complexion and outcome a game much more than 13 string safety or RB . It is a no brainer to keep him unless you have an equal to replace with.
  17. While the buzz is high on Hoyer, we have 3 games on actual evidence on him. He might be good, but he could be another Rob Johnson. Also, he's not going anywhere. Manzeil is too much of a wildcard (in more mays than just playing) to put all your eggs in that basket. There is no evidence that Mallet is any good at all. He does not even have Rob Johnson evidence.
  18. This is the one that first popped into my mind. The Stelelers had nothing to play for and were resting starters. We had everything to play for and dropped our drawers right on the field. A very sad game.
  19. Concussion issues -- I hope he has not done permanent damage and wish him the best in the future. Fame and money are very fleeting things in the NFL (Not For Long)
  20. Golden Wheels has to be up near the top along with the Electric Company!
  21. We don't need the zoo it would cause. That is what it would hurt.
  22. Sorry, but if you think there is any way that Sammy Watkins is not on the field for play one of the offense, you are wrong. When a team who has had the playoff drought the Bills have had uses basically 2 #1 choices on a player, yoou can bet the moon he will be starting.
  23. Just a few to add to the list: The Forum in Montreal, War Memorial stadium for baseball, Archbold Stadium in Syracuse, Mountaineer Field in Morgantown.
  24. It's been my take all along that the only player the Bills should trade up for is Sammy Watkins -- they did that and I'm OK with it. I am a little concerned that Kouandjio has a high bust potential - hop am wrong. I just don't know about Brown, but will give him e benefit of the doubt. I love the Cockrell pick. Overall, some risk, but a good draft.
  25. Jake Matthews at #9 (hope he is still there).
