  1. The Vikings defense is allowing 7 more points per game this year. That has been the main difference this season, not Cousins. If the D was anywhere near what they were last year they would be super bowl contenders.
  2. Not true. Those three teams win games that way. Every other team has to worry about turnovers because it's still the stat that's most associated with winning and losing. You have to have a fantastic offense to be able to regularly overcome turnovers.
  3. Based on the way Ramsey phrased it I'm not sure he's talking about Allen the QB and not Allen the person. Either there's some personal beef with the guy or perhaps he's pissed at the tweets from Allen that got released the eve of the draft. Who knows but it doesn't sound like he's just talking about his play.
  4. People are giving a single game way too much credit in how it illustrates the "new" NFL game. It was just a single game between two teams who have very good offenses - and subpar defenses - this year. NFL teams are averaging 24.2 points per game this season. Yes, it's the highest it's ever been but it hardly makes 54-51 games the "new norm." In 1946 NFL teams averaged 23.6 points per game, that didn't signal the beginning of some new offensive explosion. Just a changing game that took defenses awhile to catch up to.
  5. So in your scenario the guy who buys Miller Lite isn't cheap? Interesting.
  6. Defenseless WR was the only one I thought wasn’t a great call. Everything else was legit.
  7. Which calls do you disagree with? I’ve only seen one I thought was iffy.
  8. I don’t think you understand odds. If every game you mentioned was a 50% chance of going the Bills way the chances of ALL of it happen is less than 1 percent. It’s about a 1 in 500 chance of it all happening. And that 1/500 chance is being way generous because the games we need aren’t a coin flip. I’d say it’s closer to a 1/5000 than 1/500. Cue the “so you’re saying there’s a chance!” meme.
  9. Running backs who have successfully extended their careers tend to be one cut runners. Guys who extend plays outside and rely on quickness and/or speed tend to have much swifter drop offs. There's always the exception but I don't think Shady is going to be very productive 3 years from now.
  10. It is when you play it at a professional level. When money becomes involved things change. It's no longer a bunch of kids out there having fun, it becomes a job.
  11. Why is Ben revealing to the press private texts?
  12. You didn’t vote for the Bills’ best player?
  13. I don’t want him cut because I think that’s what he wants. Don’t give him the chance to move to a winning team, make him suffer this season with the rest of us.
  14. Let’s say the Bills have a 70% chance to win each game (they don’t, but let’s pretend.) With a 70% chance to win each game they have just an 8% chance of winning all 7. Its nice to enjoy the win but let’s not go overboard.
  15. If this is what you have to resort to in an attempt to save face, have at it. You are wrong about why teams pass more, just own up to it and move on.
  16. Its interesting to me that other successful teams were more than happy to take players from that former management’s mess. The Rams, Eagles and Chiefs to nake three.
  17. We are not talking single game sample size. Were talking over a season.
  18. McCown gives the Jets a better chance of winning in the short term.
  19. Prove it wrong
  20. That is not true in the modern NFL. Teams do have to establish a running game to help with down and distance and to establish play action, but good offenses always pass more than they run and it's not because they can't establish the run or they fall behind. It's because the rules make it easy to throw the ball now and the passing game picks up chunk yardage and chunk yardage is how you reliably score points.
  21. McD has the numbers to back up his comments too. He saw 5 guys give consoling pats on the back to teamates who had just failed. He saw 3 guys go a step further and console their failing teamates with a hug. And he saw 2 guys who, at the end of the game, were still trying, really, really hard. All "wins" via Bills' standards in 2018.
  22. Im a big believer in going for it on 4th down, even on 4th and 2 or 3 way more than the HCs in the NFL do it. But your point holds zero water. Zero. This offense is historically bad. The defense is actually pretty good. Why on earth would anyone trust this offense to do anything positive? The probabilities generated by other, functioning, offenses means very little. This team is probably better off punting on 3rd and long just to avoid turnovers than it is going for it in 4th and short.
  23. The posters who like losing for draft position hated last year. It was the worst season in 18 years.
  24. Maybe McCoy should stop dancing and start hitting whatever hole is there.
  25. Might be worth more to you donating them to charity and writing them off...
