  1. Yeah, conservatives never say bewildering things...I love people who generalize...
  2. Maybe in some other universe what you're saying makes any kind of sense, but not in this one. I guess you don't want to give the Ds any credit... A Bledsoe led offense puts up 7 points in the championship game and you want to make him the "reason" they won? The "reason" they won is because their D was outstanding that game, 7 points is a pathetic output. Was it enough, yeah, but damn if I want my offense to put up 7 massive points in a championship game. That is a below average output, if you can't see that I don't know what to say. By the same token if you want to say putting up 10 points in back to back games is enough, then I guess that's your perogative. But I'll never see putting up those paultry numbers as a "reason" the team wins...however, those pathetic numbers can indeed be a "reason" a team loses. Makes sense to me, I can't help it if it doesn't make sense to you. That being said, I'd lay the first loss this season right on our D's shoulders. When the O left the field for the last time we had the lead, the D allowed an 80 yard touchdown drive in 2 minutes costing us the game. Sure the O could have been bettter, but we had the game won until the D choked. Of course, I wouldn't say the O looked even decent despite the fact that I'd tag that loss on the D.
  3. If by "reason" you mean the 7 points the offense he lead put up in that AFC Championship game, then yes. Or maybe it was the Pats' D. Take your pick.
  4. That's a great point...or it would be if that Moulds' fumble actually cost the Bills any points...which it didn't.
  5. Really? When have you seen Bush discuss his own voting record in the Senate?
  6. You can only be "with" ice if you flip flop contastly back and forth on any given issue...otherwise you agree with him half the time and disagree with him the other half, depending on which side of any issue he's flip flopped to currently. It won't be long now when he goes back to his "it's a fans DUTY to critisize the team and expect BETTER!" line.
  7. It's not even close, spend the extra bucks and get the optical...you don't even need a mousepad with the optical, it works on pretty much any surface and I have yet to have any problems with mine. Wireless just makes everything that much better...50-60 bucks on a wireless optical is money well spent.
  8. Yeah, when I read something like the above post the first thing that pops into my mind is, "the guy who wrote that is one classy guy!"
  9. Just out of curiousity, what would you like to hear Mularky say? Seriously, the guy isn't going to say his starting QB sucks and the team has no hope. Any HQ that encounters these troubles would pretty much sound the same...the thing I'm most disapointed in Mularkey for is the fact that he's coaching a team that is having the exact same problems that got the previous coach fired.
  10. We could beat the Dolphins at the Ralph 2-0 on a safety...oh no, wait, nm, it would end 0-0 because the refs would rule that the holding actually took place at the 1 yard line and not in the endzone.
  11. I couldn't do any worse...I'm pretty certain that if I were the starting QB for the Buffalo Bills we'd also be 0-2...
  12. Damn, this phenomeneon sounds familiar...like the Bills may have experienced it before now, in the not so distant past...
  13. GD, lost Deuce and Winslow in the same week...not to mention Bennett in the last preseason game. Sigh.
  14. Shelton was responsible for 2 sacks. The first one, where he let the blitzing man run RIGHT past him as he released to go out into a pattern and the 3rd sack, the one where Bledsoe rolled out, Shelton helped an Olineman double a Dlineman and didn't pick up the blitzing LB who sacked Drew.
  15. I'd have to disagree with Eric here, the things they're doing are VERY characteristic of this team. It would be uncharacteristic if they didn't have so many stupid penalties and brain cramps.
  16. Actually, Belichick and NE started this gameplan the year before last. Otherwise I agree, we need to have more timing patterns, alla the Pats. Of course, the problem here is that Drew is pretty inaccurate on short passes, but it's the only shot we've got at getting teams to back off the blitz.
  17. What has he done in the past 26 games to make ANYBODY a "believer". If this isn't blind faith I don't know what is.
  18. This is just wrong. First off, that INT was a poorly thrown ball, way too high and way too hard. It would have been a very difficult catch. I split the blame on that one as had either Bledsoe or Henry made a play it wouldn't have happened. Also, Bledsoe was off target all day long. Passes too high, too hard, too low, I haven't seen that many skip passes since Flutie was lining up behind center. Bledsoe himself even admitted he was off, so why try to cover for him. He had a bad game, about as bad as a QB can have without throwing multiple INTs.
  19. Huh? The same size? Travis is 5-9 215lbs and WM is 6-0 228lbs...they have totally different body types and have totally different run styles. Travis is a hit the hole hard type of runner, ramming into anybody who is in his way like a bowling ball while WM is a patient, wait for the cut back lane runner, although he's bigger than TH he's faster (or at least used to be) and more of guy who squeezes through holes and doesn't try to blast through them. They have two different run styles and are nowhere near the same type of back.
  20. Notice how no other AFC defense has more penalties against them and only 2 teams have more penatly yards? Sloppy, just sloppy.
  21. If you would have stopped your post at "we have a bye next week" you'd have been correct, that is the bright side....the sad part of that is on our bye week we'll only put up 10 fewer points than we do when we actually play a game.
  22. Anybody who asks this question needs to ask themselves if they know how to read...
  23. Alright, that INT was only partially Henry's fault, you can split the blame on that one. Sure it was catchable...but it was a tough catch, Drew threw it much too high and too hard...once again the guy shows he has no touch on the short routes.
  24. Maybe we still only put up 10 points a game and can't win a game because of our offense...which is exactly what we get with Drew. Then again, maybe we put up more points...it can't get any worse than it is right now.
  25. I just don't get why MW isn't getting carries. It has to have something to do with TH's fragile ego. There are lots of top backs in the league who get spelled from time to time by their backups. WM should be getting at least 5-8 carries a game in relief of Henry. And if we're truely the "smashmouth" team we're supposed to be that would still leave Henry 22-25 carries a game.
