  1. He’s the kind of QB who has a little success early but unless he tranforms his game dramatically won’t have sustained success. Thats the nature of the running QB.
  2. I don’t blame guys for not saying negative things about the Bills. The fan base doesn’t like it and run guys out of town who do it. If your report on the Bills and like job security make sure to say good things about a bad team. We live in a society where people can’t stand hearing negative thoughts/facts about things they like.
  3. One of two things has to happen for 300 yards. He’ll need at least two big plays, like 60 yards or more, or he needs way more attempts than he’s getting. Its tough to predict the former as that could happen any week. The latter won’t happen this year. He runs too much and I don’t think the coaching staff wants him dropping back 45-50 times which is pretty much what it takes.
  4. I don’t think it’ll be a trade. Nobody is giving up much, if anything, for a past his prime QB with that contract. The Ravens will end up cutting him.
  5. Jax makes a lot of sense.
  6. I dunno, Colts are 6-1 since their crap start. Wouldn’t surprise me if they shocked some people in the playoffs. Beat the Cowboys this week and they may just be for real.
  7. AFC playoffs are going to be good. 5-6 teams have legit shots at making it to the SB.
  8. Refs just f’n up every play. No calls when there should be and calls when there shouldn’t
  9. Rivers needs to keep his composure and get his team ready for the next snap. Wasted lots of time
  10. Here's a list of the most dropped passes by team. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/tmleaders.asp?range=NFL&type=Receiving&rank=232 The Bills come in at 13 with 15 drops on the season. The do throw less than most teams, so perhaps their drop percentage would be near the top. I don't feel like doing the math on that one. These stats are way different than your perception that the Bills dropped 11 balls in one game though... That said, I don't know if these stats include week 14.
  11. If Haush wasn’t hurt earlier in the game, maybe. But the moment they trotted him out there I was asking, “wtf are they doing?!” The guy looked hurt trotting on and off the field for kickoffs and you’re sending a player out there with a lower back injury to try and hit a 55 yarder? It’s not hindsight, it was dumb from the get go.
  12. And Allen doesn’t bail them out with more catchable balls. His placement isn’t great and he only has one throw - bullet! Everybody has work to do but people keep wanting to run the WRs into the ground for all their mistakes to give Allen a pass. Everyone realizes that this WR core are all in their 1st or 2nd years, yeah? They’re almost all street FAs too. The fact that I keep seeing people rip Zay for the “drop” against Miami tells me all O need to know. He was mugged by the DB on that play and if he had managed to still come up with the catch despite the PI it would have been amazing. But somehow not coming up with that catch is a “drop” in some posters minds?
  13. And it’ll be fun to watch.
  14. They certainly aren’t doing it now. McVay ate time outs last night like they were candy. Just horrible clock management. As for the original question, yeah, I’d rather eat the 5 yards, even in that situation. Ideally I’d like to see Daboll get the damn play in and Allen get the team out of the huddle on time so neither the TO or penalty is necessary. This team has so many pre-snap penalties, it’s infuriating.
  15. It wasn’t just a toe tap. The ball was a 3-4 feet out of bounds. He kept his feet glued to the field and leaned out and caught the ball all while on a dead sprint. Im not sure I’d call it “great” but it wasn’t just a toe tap either.
  16. He’s got two more years to show what he’s got. Those two years will show if he’s the franchise QB we all desperately hope he is.
  17. Why are the Bills drafting in front of the Jags? I thought head to head loser was the tiebreaker.
  18. Its absolutly true. But everyone is making thr assumption hes going to make a big leap with a better surounding cast. He might. But he also might just make a small jump because he is inaccurate, doesnt always throw a catchable ball and breaks the pocket needlessly. He also may never be able to read NFL defenses as quickly as he needs to. They absolutley have to get him help and keep developing him. He might be the QB weve been waiting for but a few flashes in a few games doesnt convinve me one way or the other yet.
  19. On the surface I agree with this. But then I remember this is the exact same excuse eceryine gave Allen at Wyoming. Maybe its coincidence and notmnis fault at all, or maybe Allen’s style is just chaos ball. Even with a good OL will he still break the pocket when he doessnt need to because its a habit? Maybe...
  20. The 2nd wasnt a horrible decision, it was a horrible throw. CB has inside position, its an easy outside throw and he throws it right into the teeth of the coverage.
  21. What is the coaching staff reasonable for? Crossman isn’t responsible for his unit now?
  22. It’s obvious he was hurt and couldn’t possibly hit that long of a FG. They should have gone for it.
