  1. Nothing about today was above average QB play. It’s like all fans are asking of Allen is to not turn them ball over and if he does that it’s “good enough.” Hell, he was lucky as hell he didn’t turn they ball over and we got that 2nd TD.
  2. I totally agree that the Bills should have run more today and not just run more but attacked the edges of the Browns’ D. That said, WRs were open a lot today and Allen missed them. Consistently. So, the complaint is really, “Daboll needs to protect the Bills from bad QB play by not relying on the QB to make plays.” Personally, I agree with this but there are plenty of people on this board who simultaneously think Allen is doing a good job AND want the Bills to feature the running game.
  3. There were defenders of every QB the Bills have trotted out in the past 20 years on this board. It’s always somebody else’s fault. Eventually they see what’s obvious to others a full season before. QB play is an issue. Im not willing to give up on Allen yet. He’s shown signs of growth in some areas. IMO , he gets this season AND next but it doesn’t mean I have to lie to myself about how well hes’s playing. He is, easily, a bottom 5-7 starting QB.
  4. I see WRs running open down field and across the middle and the QB missing by a mile on long throws and throwing consistently low and behind WRs over the middle. He’s almost always a split second slow on his throws as well. This last critique I’ll forgive because he’s a young QB and the game moves fast for young QBs. The inaccurate throws aren’t a product of being young.
  5. I won’t be shocked if the Phins beat them next week. This is a team that plays everybody close, no matter how bad they are. The offense can’t score consistently against bad teams, that means bad teams might make a game winning drive to win the game.
  6. He can’t even get it within the zip code of his intended target.
  7. Everybody doesn’t think they’re pretenders because of play calling, run D and the kicker. They think the QB isn’t good and can’t carry them when they need it. If you put Watson or Mahomes on this team everybody would have faith in the Bills.
  8. And if that ball isn’t tipped that would have been the game winning screen. Nobody was there to stop him, Allen has to get that ball over the blitz.
  9. He is. He has a long learning curve but that was the book on him coming out of college. Learning curve aside, he has the worst long ball I’ve ever seen at the NFL level. He’s nowhere near the WR.
  10. That all sounds good but he doesn't get open on a consistent basis. He’s slow with very little burst out of his cuts. He has to be able to catch contested balls because he struggles to actually get separation. Id rather have a guy that drops a ball every now and then but is always open than a guy who struggles to get open.
  11. I don’t get the love fest for Duke on this board.
  12. This is one of the ugliest 2 min drives I’ve seen this year.
  13. While I appreciate that went into compiling these numbers the above is the problem. Without knowing how to interpret the data the numbers don’t mean much. You’re making assumptions when you need more data. There should be no “to me“. In order to interpret the date you complied you have to have the same information on all the other teams in the league to compare these numbers to. Getting data is the first step, interpreting the data is the important one.
  14. I don’t get why the Jets and Browns decided to go out and get toys for their young QBs instead of protection.
  15. I said it after the 3 stops at the goal line. Why don’t they spread the field and give it to Singletary on short yardage. Thankfully Daboll was listening. ?
  16. Bell doesn’t even give it his all to get the 1st on 3rd and 4. They get it on 4th down but that was a pathetic effort.
  17. After the drive where the Bills has the ball at the 2 and ended up kicking a FG from the 22 I was asking, “wtf is Daboll being so cute?” After all the short yardage Gore carries I was saying, “That’s why Daboll was being so cute.”
  18. Freddie Kitchens might want to debate you about that.
  19. Every drive that heavily involved Singletary ended in points. Get that kid the ball!
  20. A win is a win but that was the worst defensive performance I’ve ever seen that resulted in fewer than 10 points. As said above, a win is a win though, I’ll take it. 6-2!
  21. So is the run. We have two kryptonites and they’re both very safe options for the opposing offenses.
  22. He slowed up at the very end and relaxed like nobody was pursuing him.
  23. I don't get why they activated Foster last week over McKenzie with the weather. Jet sweeps would have been way more effective in those conditions than the deep ball. That said, Id like to see Foster get the start today. The big play needs to find its way into this offense and Foster and Brown on the field at the same time is the best way.
