  1. Peyton Gump (Big Game Chump) just crapped his pants. Andy Reid.
  2. Could be the 14 years of EPIC FAILURE by the organization. GO Da'Rick!
  3. ICE. Pure entertainment.
  4. Interesting thread. By January 2015, the new ownership may be here. Unless a miracle happens next season, everyone in the front office and everyone on the coaching staff is gone. Too wide open to predict one way or another... may end up better, may end up worse, but at least there would finally be legitimate hope. I'd like to see a proven pro like Coughlin myself, though he is getting up there in years.
  5. There will always be fans who will completely disregard negative intangibles as long as the QB has a big arm. Just look at the die-hard Bledsoe & Losman apologists... some of who wanted to see Ryan friggin' Mallett in a Bills uniform. Cutler would fit right in to what they are looking for in a QB.
  6. New ownership.
  7. No doubt Thad is far more entertaining to watch right now than EJ is... but no doubt EJ is still the starter next year. I give EJ a mulligan for this year, but he could (or should) be 2 years and done though if he doesn't show major improvement.
  8. 100% blame goes to Ralph. As lame as his stooges may appear to be, they are only doing what they are told to do.
  9. 25%. That's not a slam against him, considering the lost time / new coaching & all, but I need to see major improvement next year.
  10. It would not surprise me one bit if the trade for Brain Dead Drew and the drafting of McGahee were both mandates from Ralph, "Get It Done". TD's HC choices were influenced by Ralph, who won't open his checkbook for them. Puddinhead Williams over McKinnie, that's on TD. Losman is on TD as well, though at least he tried to correct the situation. I still say his biggest mistake was extending Drew after the 2003 season. If Bledsoe doesn't sh## the bed against the Steelers, the Bills make the playoffs in 2004, and the last 10 years would've been radically different for the better.
  11. As always, Ralph was to blame. TD was well-respected throughout the league until Ralph's non-stop meddling ruined him. No doubt in my mind that TD would've had this team in the playoffs if his boss would've left him alone & given him the resources he needed.
  12. Well, Marv isn't GM anymore, so I can't say for sure it happened this time, only speculation. Still though, Chris Hogan not only on the 53-man Week 1 roster but playing every game makes no sense at all.
  13. Maybe keeping a high-motor lunch pail WR who would be a feel-good story to a big part of the fan-base outweighed keeping a potential problem child.
  14. Absolutely correct. Once again, stats are for losers. Anyone who watched Jimbo's 1st season on the Bills instead of reading about it would know it.
  15. Let's do this: 1. Trade a 2015 #1 to the Texans for Schaub. 2 Throw a parade for him when he comes to town. 3. Cut TJ Graham and give Schaub #11. That'll give us at least 2-3 years of laughing at the Schaub apologists on here... or at least until new ownership takes over. It'd be like 2003 all over again, good times for this board. .
  16. Great post. Bledsoe is an apt comparison.... and once again, stats are for losers. Any savvy fan who has actually watched him play instead of reading his fantasy numbers would want no part of him.
  17. Unless things change drastically in the pre-season, I think you keep Dan, no doubt. I'd wait till final cut-down to move/cut Hopkins though, the "let's be nice guys & give him a chance to catch on with another team" mind-set is for losers..I apologize for that last sentence in the TOTAL OPTIMISM thread.
  18. I really like Dan Carpenter, what a nice pick-up. Best Bills K since Steve Christie.
  19. Different styles. I read on this board that Hogan could be the next Wes Welker, hard to give up on potential like that.
  20. After this year, it's highly unlikely he would bring Matt Scrub with him... but that's the only positive I see.
