  1. Classic.
  2. If EJ still looks brutal after the 1st few games, he'll get the hook as soon as Orton is ready. Too many people fighting for their jobs this year to think otherwise.
  3. Yep, my favorite FA pick-up in a long time, I hope he sees a lot of action.
  4. Texans go from Matt Scrub to Drew Bledsoe Jr., too brutal, better hope Fitz can hold on the job this year. Poor Andre Johnson.
  5. 16-13 Bills, Cutler booed out of Soldier Field.
  6. Nice! Pretty late to finally make this move, but better late than never. Welcome Kyle (from QB U).
  7. I'd rather have no Chris Hogan. As for Cohen, he made some nice plays this pre-season, but I won't really miss him either.
  8. Meanwhile Chris Hogan (next Wes Welker) is still on the team.... again.
  9. Bills looked bad a couple pre-seasons ago & beat the crap out of the Chiefs in KC Week 1. Anything can happen, especially with friggin' Cutler playing on the other team.
  10. First step would've been to change the name of the stadium.
  11. I chalk it all up to the previous ownership... and can only hope that the new ownership does the right thing if nothing changes this year.
  12. Bottom line, I don't think Russ deserves a pass from the new ownership if this team tanks the year, not at all. Neither does Whaley if the team tanks due to the QB position. They both will have made their bed & they'll have to lie in it. Of course, if the team finally turns it around on the field, I have absolutely no problem with them staying along with Marrone.
  13. Visit for Bills news? Somewhat. Looking at the 1st page now, I see Bills acquire P Jordan Gay Bills Release Thad Lewis Bills sign QB Jordan Palmer I learned about these moves for the 1st time by clicking here. As for Round 2 : Sale of the team, I get my info elsewhere. I have neither the time nor desire to keep up with / wade thru a 71 page thread.
  14. Yep. Not a one of them has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they deserve to stay under the new ownership. They all have a lot riding on this season, and the way things are looking right now, the pressure has to be intense.
  15. No doubt he's got a gun for an arm... so did Bledsoe, & this guy looks like the second coming of Drew to me, it's really scary.
  16. Me too. I enjoyed watching him choke at the end of the Alabama game, and I enjoyed watching him choke at the end of the Ohio State bowl game.
  17. Kyle Orton did go to Purdue, QB U. but he looks too much like JP so I will have to say NO.
  18. Outstanding! Well, if EJ doesn't pan out (and it's not looking good right now), I give you props, since you emphatically called it back then.
  19. Yep. If things don't end up greatly improving there this year, it's a monumental blunder on Doug Whaley's part & easily grounds for dismissal.
  20. No, now is not the time to panic. Week 1 is still two weeks away, and even after that, this is still a year of transition....plenty of time for all the underachievers (on the field, on the sidelines, & in the front office) to prove that they deserve to stay under the new ownership. If they fail to do so & the new ownership still keeps them? That's when it's time to panic, for nothing will have changed. Until then, I'm just kicking back & watching.
  21. Maybe AFC Championship, then another SB loss.
  22. I don't know about those 2, but I agree that the team will have many more desirable candidates available than before, The problem wasn't the Buffalo region, it was having to work for the worst owner in the league.
  23. Perfect response. Of the 3, it appears to me that Whaley is the most worthy of staying. On paper, the team appears to have more talent than any Bills team since at least 2003. On the field last year, the actual results were lacking, If there isn't significant improvement this year and especially if (God forbid) this team tanks like 2003, I have no problem seeing him go with Marrone.
