  1. Agreed. If you haven't made the playoffs in 10+ years, you don't burn a 1st-round pick on a QB that's a major, MAJOR project. Total hindsight statement from me, since I've never slammed the EJ pick, but it's pretty obvious today.
  2. If he does end up being cut though, frankly. they are not going to be the ones that will be looking stupid. Part of the price for taking an extreme stand.
  3. 26 George Saimes, honorable mention Charles Romes
  4. The same people who got over RJ and got over JP will get over EJ.... and if/when the Bills make another big investment in another flawed QB, they will fall in love all over again. Rinse and repeat.
  5. I always see the bolded statement in here. I really don't have a side in this case, but as usual, it's not about being right, it's about certain others always being wrong. If they would just STFU during the off-season instead of slamming everyone who doesn't agree with them, these inevitable threads wouldn't be nearly as long as they are. I don't have to name the certain others, we all know who they are.
  6. No kidding... gee I wonder who that could be.
  7. Jimbo did not approve of that last EJ pass. I didn't know he was part of the conspiracy.
  8. I don't think so. IMO this year's Tank Carder. Worth a shot in the 6th round, but if he was 1st/2nd round talent like I've read in here, he would've been taken during the 1st 2 days of the draft.
  9. I really like Graham over Duke at safety, hope he stays there.
  10. Not bad so far, other than pre-season penalties. Not much pressure on the QBs. Karlos is nice.
  11. Me too, at least so far. Nothing flashy, but nothing that makes me want to . Tyrod time!
  12. 1st home pre-season game last year was against Tampa Bay. Here you go: http://www.amazon.co...y/dp/1576854949
  13. if he shows improvement + signs of being the answer, I think the vast majority of Bills fans would support him no doubt. But it doesn't matter how likeable and a nice guy he is if he keeps sh$#ing the bed on the field. Very, very few people in the fanbase have any use or time for that, especially considering the playoff drought. Actually, I think it's a smart move not starting him the 1st home pre-season game. This may be a different coaching staff, but last season's debacle against Tampa Bay where he was soundly booed off the field was embarrassing & I don't think too easily forgotten by the front office... you don't want to repeat that if he's not quite ready. Run him with the 3's and if he looks good, give him more work on the road with either the 2's or 1's next week.
  14. So if you haven't made the playoffs in 10+ years, you're better off not spending a 1st-round pick on him. That would not be a smart move at all.
  15. If EJ hasn't improved from last year or even regressed, there's no point of keeping him on the team. I'm not saying he has, since I am reserving judgment for the pre-season games, but if he's still 2014 EJ, it is what it is.
  16. I missed any mention of it here, but a few weeks ago, he picked Taylor as the Bill under the most pressure. Looks like he's part of the EJ conspiracy theory.: http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2015/07/23/nfl-training-camp-primer-peter-king-schedule
  17. True. Maybe we'll get something for EJ if/when he is finally gone, unlike JP. I do see a lot of similarities to date though... both inconstant, both inaccurate, both suddenly got the rug pulled out from under them, both with imagined conspiracy theories from the same small-but-vocal part of the fanbase. Neither are close to the worst though, at least they have positively contributed to Bills victories.
  18. I guess if you look at it that way, being the 1st overall pick and all. I remember him being mediocre, but not completely worthless. They at least got a 2nd-round pick for him, which ended up being Joe Devlin... more than they got for Maybin, Tom Ruud, or Phil "Okie" Dokes. As for EJ, I don't see any real difference between him and JP as it stands right now.
  19. Oh well, the 1st pre-season game is just around the corner, and we can all see for ourselves then. I do think that, if they still all look like dogsh*# over the next 4 weeks, Cassel is the most likely of this lot to start against the Colts. If there's nothing worth developing, you might as well go with the experienced vet and re-boot next year.
  20. I'd call them Pollyannas. GO EJ!
