  1. Theoretically Martin should still be able to hold for kicks, I hope.
  2. Was that considered a turnover-worthy throw?
  3. This whole "he'll never recover" mentality makes no sense. He's not even 85% back at his current level. It's very reasonable to expect him to be improved next year. Will he have a falloff due to being 35 instead of say 32-33 before that? Yes. Will he recover "100%"? Unlikely. However, people writing him off as "done" don't have a lot of evidence for that. Someone who tears an ACL at 34 can absolutely recover most of the way back, but they will generally recover far slower than a 21 year old. If he puts the work in, he can get back to NFL level. Elite level? Who knows, probably not. Still doesn't make him "done".
  4. I was premature in calling it a bad game. It did not start well with 2 INTs in the endzone, a strip sack, and a failed drive at the end of the 1st half. However he picked it up and also outplayed Tua.
  5. Lamar had a better ratio (with fewer TDs and fewer INTs) and won his division. Most likely the other division winning QBs also had a better ratio (again with less of each). The only guy with more turnovers (before today) was Sam Howell the QB of the 2nd worst team in the NFL. Josh must not have 3 turnovers in each playoff game or we'll be out early. Is he still an amazing player who could be in the HOF someday? Yes. But to be the best or to win the SB, he needs to cut down on turnovers.
  6. And how many turnovers? 22? That's not a good ratio. 3:1 or better is a good ratio.
  7. Still leaning that way, yes. Great play though.
  8. Josh is turning into Super-sized Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  9. That was a missed block. We are in deep trouble now.
  10. So did the RB run the route wrong?
  11. Can we adjust our offense somehow so Josh is not constantly running backwards (or falling, or jumping) when he throws? Talk about "needing to fix mechanics"...
  12. We need to do some more of those 4-6 yard passes to Diggs where he is in front of the defense. I think they were thrown off by that play for whatever reason.
  13. Once again, 3rd and long is our nemesis.
  14. Are we playing bad on offense so we can take them on next week with our A game?
  15. Isn't that at least twice Josh has thrown it outside while Gabe went inside? We lost a game like that.
  16. He got that off even after a bad snap.
  17. "Plays" is not the same as playing at full capability.
  18. From NFL.com: Jalen Reagor reached a top speed of 20.62 mph on his 98-yard kick-return TD, the fastest speed by a Patriots ball carrier this season. In pursuit of Reagor, Bills kicker Tyler Bass reached 20.58 mph, the fastest play by a kicker in the NGS era (since 2016). So, who knew Tyler Bass was a speedster?
  19. I stand corrected on the rushing TDs. No doubt his knack for running in TDs is great, and has not declined. As far as the recovered fumble, people see a guy with a reputation for turnovers holding the ball out while getting tackled, the first thought in their minds is not "MVP".
