  1. I do not know if DJ can become more demanding or animated. If Mularkey can run a real offense that does not rely on trick plays and is effective enough to get into the playoffs, then DJ could become more agressive.
  2. So, what you are saying is .... Buffalo will never again be a prosperous place?
  3. I do not follow NCAA football as much as some other people, so I am asking a legitimate question. How is Tebow any better than Rex Grossman?
  4. I would forgive Ralph if he sold the team to a buyer willing to keep it in Buffalo.
  5. Fewell's D has had some good games. There are some games where Fewell looks like a top coordinator. There are other games where the D looks like they have no idea how to stop the other team. If you were dividing things into either problems or solutions, I guess I'd say Fewell was on the problem side. But when I think about it, I cannot come up with many things I'd put on the solution side. Perry Fewell may be 'a' problem, but he is not 'the' problem
  6. I think the OP has a point. Ralph seemed a bit depressed that the NFL is now all about $$. There are probably a large number of owners who feel the Phins were stupid to pay $27 mil to fire a coaching staff. That guy paid all of that $ and now he's trying to sell the team. Maybe Ralph needs a gesture like hundreds of boxes of returned Bills Merchandice to show that there is still a large number of people who care more about football than money. Or maybe I've watched to many christmas specials this year.
  7. I am happy to hear that Coach Jauron will be returning. Now, if you would excuse me I have to catch a flight to [anywhere] so I can begin my 3 month long training program that should help me learn to catch a football. Then, I'll be going to Trent's house for a few weeks of workouts. I had some opportunities in the passing game this year that didn't work out the way I'd like, so I am going to bust my a$$ this off-season in order to be prepaierd for next season.
  8. That's like saying, don't you wish you had a Billion $. I'd be happy if the Bills had one of the above and could back up thier arrogence 60 times out of 100
  9. If Brandon did want DJ gone, didn't Ralph leave Brandon 'twisting in the wind' by keeping DJ? Ralph stripped off Brandon's pants w/ this one. Brandon has no power, he's a figure-head. If he wants to stick around and play the role of the queen of England for a year, he can, it's his career. If he wants to be taken seriously as a football guy in the NFL, he needs to get as far away from Ralph as he can. After week 16 Brandon said that the season was unacceptable. 10 days later, Ralph tells Ed Kilgore there will be no changes, no changes in the front office, no changes in the staff. What authority does Brandon have? I had a high opinion of Brandon before he became COO too. I wanted to see what he could do as the man in charge. The problem is, he’s not the man in charge.
  10. That is one thing that I just can't understand. Why does Ralph seem to have NO foresight? He obviously does not care anymore (if he ever did). Why not sell an interest in the team to someone willing to keep the team in Buffalo. Why not sell an interest in someone willing to pay a top notch staff.
  11. Many people have thought he is a bumbling idiot for years.
  12. Now that the Bills are keeping DJ, the only way to have a successful season is to redifine success as a 7-9 season
  13. I am so sick of reading this crock of sh--. If Ralph was really commited to keeping a team in Buffalo, he'd find someone equally as commited and sell the team for whatever the new owner could afford. (pending NLF approval) Once Ralph dies, his estate must sell the team to the group that offers the most $.
  14. Martz fired Bobby April.
  15. The Buffalo Bills were named after William F. Cody aka Buffalo Bill (the famous cowboy).
  16. Fixing the Coach is a step in the right direction. There are many things wrong with this team and nobody thinks a new coach is a magical cure all. Firing the coach would show that: 1) 7-9 is not good enough 2) Ralph is willing to eat the salary of an underperforming employee (and therefore not as cheep as we think)
  17. Cowher is not coming to Buffalo in '09. He wants to spend time with his family. His family is currently in the NYC/NJ area. He has a daughter in Prinston and the other must have a job in New York.
  18. I'm sure there is an NFL rule against that
  19. In hindsight, would Marvin Lewis have been worth the extra $$$? How about Lovie Smith?
  20. No team was able to pry Marty off the couch last year. There is no reason Marty would choose Detroit, KC or cleveland over Buffalo. If Brandon can convince Littmann that a 'name' coach with a record for turning teams around would translate into $$$, Ralph will pay up.
  21. Right now I'd be happy with a fluke year in Buffalo.
  22. How is Buffalo the perfect situation for Cowher? He is considering the Jets because he has 2 daughters that work/go to school in the NY/NJ area. Does he have 3 children working in Western New York? Does anyone have 3 children working in Western New York?
  23. Chuck Lester "Among Lester’s responsibilities are breaking down film of the upcoming week’s opponent as well as tracking statistical tendencies throughout the NFL. " http://www.buffalobills.com/team/coaches/c...ed-d8760ae76b47
  24. I hope Brandon will convince Ralph to bring in a big name proven coach. A new recognizable face for the franchise would sell tickets. The problem is, I do not know who that guy is.
  25. Only the Bills would hire Mangini as OC
