The NFL needs to have a serious look at the health of it's players. -
Anyone who thinks he is going to avoid a suspension is smoking the blunts that were in his car.
-
You need at least 3 reliable running backs to run the offense the Bills want to run. Lynch is going to get a suspension and lots of drug tests. He may not be here most of next year. The Bills may be forced to draft a RB in the top 3 or sign a quality FA.

Marshawn Lynch is killing Marshawn Lynch.

If you want Mack you will have to get him before Miami who drafts at 25 or 26. So you need to take him at 21. Pettigrew might still be there at 28. There are tight ends that are better receivers than Pettigrew but not as good all around football players. If you do miss on Pettigrew you could still get a number of good tight ends. There is no excuse for the Bills not finding help there this year.

Guy on Billszone claiming he works for the Bills...
Trader replied to 2003's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
None of this is a surprise and i would not doubt for a minute that some of it, part of it or none of it were true. Every NFL team leaks misinformation regarding their plans. -
I am a gun owner advocate NRA member Pistol Permit holder and fully support the second amendment but..... Lynch is going to get suspended. The reason is he put the league in a bad spot...tarninshed the nfl image and set a bad example for the 11-21 year olds who idolize him. The gun issue is a lightning Rob for the NFL Goodell has no choice but to make Burris and Lynch poster boys. What happens to them will happen to you et al.
-
Mack would have to get by Miami and Pittsburg to fall into the second round. I do not see that happening.
-
If he can go for 4=6 games the Bills should have an interest.
-
Your definition of a Militia (something akin to the National Guard) and the founding fathers definition of a militia are two different things. The second amendment also was just clarified by the Supreme court defind the right as covering all the people not just the people in the militia. The constitutional interpretation of the phrase, "the people", is very inclusive and it is fundamental to many of your civil rights it appears in several places in the bill of rights.

[closed]Can you really blame Lynch for having a gun?
Trader replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every law abiding citizen should be able to obtain a Permit. I have one but it's not good in NYC. My guess is that its just as difficult to get a concealed carry permit in LA as in NYC. His only option is to put himself at risk or carry illegal. Perhaps he chose to be tried by 12 rather than to be carried by 6. At any rate he has a suspension coming especially after the Burris thing. 2009 going in the tank fast for the Bills. -
I will say this if it came down to Pettigrew or Mack at #11 it would be Mack.

Would love to see this come about!

We have been debating who to draft with the 11th pick for a while. There are several good decisions that can be made with the 11 th pick. The important thing is that the decision is made as part of an overall strategy. We all know what the problem positions are but for clairty they are in no particular order. DL (2) positions one starting interior or outside pass rusher and one back up to replace McCargo who will likey be cut . OL (2) One starting center and one backup/developmental player at OG spot - neither on current roster TE (1) starter not on current roster WR (1) Hardy will not be ready by the end of Training camp) OL (2) a starting Center and one back up at G or C/G position), OLB- (1) starter - Crowell or Draft or FA Strong Safety (1) starter or backup (debatable) QB -(1) back up not on current roster For the Bills to improve each of these objectives need to be met by the end of training camp. The total is 11 players remember some can come from the current roster or return of players at the start of training camp How they are achieved whether thorugh the draft, free agency, existing player development, coaching, or return from injury it does not matter. The most important thing is that each and every item must be addressed. Before we can decide who is to be the pick at 11 We need to ask ourselves the other questions and see how it all falls into the puzzle. That is the difference between a strategic approach to building a team and a tactical approach to building a team. The very best you can hope for is 4 of these to be accomplished through an exceptional draft. Perhaps 2-3 starters in an exceptional draft but more likely one. The balance of the draft might provide you with situational and development players. Perhaps a 3 rd QB. Lets play GM - Which players by name do you propose to fill these roles?

The second coming of Corneilius Bennett! -
I repeat If we draft Mack at 11 then our entire front office should be fired on the spot. i like Mack but he will be there at 20. The Bills have been squandering their draft choices for years that is why the S-_c-k for 10 straight years.
-
I agree Caldwell is a fat as the rest of our linemen he would fit right in.
-
If we take Mack at 11. then Brandon should be fired on the spot.
-
I am right with you here Hardy is out of the picture next year.
