Check the Photo of Bell blocking in a drill in todays Buffalo News. I don't know if he can play but he is really built perfectly for an OT. I don't think I have seen a player with longer arms than he has. I already know he has good feet, the big question mark is his toughness and run blocking.

Not sure how tall Tasker was but he could dunk a basketball. I think it's more about how tall you play than how tall you are. At least when it comes to WR and DB.

He is my pick of a Free Agent that makes the roster this year. He is why I don't think they will bring in another veteran Ol. Let's see how he develops. He is a good Pass blocker. Let's see if he can handle the run blocking and an NFL Bull rush. With those hands if he holds the refs will certainly see it!

I like Demetrius Bell as well, but I also like Joel Bell. How much fun would it be if we had Two Bells starting One at LT and one at RT. They could be known around the league as the "Bills Bells" Hopefully not the "Ding Dong Bells"

I agree that you cannot hide a weakness at LT, We were weak at LT (certainly in pass protection) last year.

Did you hear his comments on Peters? Trashed him big time. "He said the guy played so bad last year he deserved to be cut" not given a raise. He said the Bills made a great move by trading the guy.

I am thinking they will pick up a veteran LB. But maybe they play a lot of nickel defense. Also with Maybin having the speed of a linebacker they could line 5 men up on the line and drop one off. Denny, Schobel, or Kelsy have all been dropped into coverage at times last year adding Maybin to the mix the offense will have to figure out who is coming and who is not.

Unless it's in his belt he ain't got no weapon yet.

NFL.com go to draft and player by position there is great tape on Bell and profiles on travis McCall. Bell is very agile and athletic not your fat Lineman but carrys 300+ lbs on his 6'7" frame huge hands long arms. looks like an LT to my untrained eye. He is a lot quicker than the guy doing the mirror drill with him. Nice blurb on Travis McCall too. I will check out the others.

Walker was charged with 3 sacks last year Peters 11.5 but had only 13 starts the worst in the NFL Dockery chimed in with 8.5 the left side of the line was a total disaster.

I am as guilty as anyone I almost choaked when they picked Cary at 2 but recovered with the Nelson Pick. And then when Brandt was singing Lanksters praises and they drafted Bell who has a ton of potential I was good to go. I want a Vet Linebacker though. I also think we bring another QB in.

An OLB for sure If I were Ralph I would ask my coachs. Are you prepared to work with the tackles that you have (including the new Bell who was signed to a three year contract which has to be unusual for a UDFA), with the understanding that your credibility is on the line with those tackles? Depending on the answer I would pursue a vet or not. Personally I am inclinded to go with what we have and develop those people. I do not believe we will be any worse off than last year. Last year was pretty bad.

Cadogan does not show up on the NFL board either being drafted or available. Does anyone know if he is still available?
