  1. They look very much improved I would wait until until the season starts to award them a playoff spot. The Bills looked season games last year the Bills looked pretty good too. What upsets me about the Bills versus GB is that both of these teams started to rebuild at the same time. Right now their program looks way ahead of ours.
  2. Good analysis the only thing you missed is the issue of Peters intellect. OL need to be smart.
  3. Hardy has potential. It does not appear that he will be able to realize that potential this year. Very few are giving up on Hardy. With the receivers we have right now and with Nelson as a red zone target. Hardy may spend most of the year on pup or IR.
  4. I think we are stuck with Schonert for this year. Edwards needs help. Jim Kelly is perfect. I always thought he was a little too agressive with his throws (I know what you think but it's my opinion and I am entitled to it!). Edwards is timid to a fault. Perhaps day in and day out exposure to Jim Kelly for a month or so could whip Trent into a more aggressive attitude. Granted Edwards will never be a gunslinger (I don't want one), but maybe he could become more than he appears to be.
  5. If they cut Stupar I will eat my program.
  6. I am thinking Schouman has not done anything in these preseason games to keep him on the Roster. Neither has Fine for that matter.
  7. Any good defensive team in any sport can stop one strong offensive player. Two strong offensive players is another matter. I would suggest to you that lining up Parrish in the number spot at least with this coaching staff and perhaps with any coaching staff is pure folly.
  8. Kelsay gone no one will trade for him cap number is too high. Simpson and Wendling cut Oman practice squad Stupar possible practive squad cut earlier than expected so he can be brought back to PS. Schouman and McIntyre go down to the wire. I need to see Schouman at RB before that decision is made. McIntyre impressed in a limited role last week WR hate to lose Steve Johnson but he has had his share of injury issues Jenkins Hawthorne and Huggins have outpreformed but Johnson has much more potential especially if TO leaves after this year and who knows what Hardy can do?
  9. Last year the excuse was he was worried about his contract. This year it will be he is worried about his investments. Maybe he will quit football an open up a car dealership.
  10. Not worried in the least we need to find who the other receivers are going to be the rest of the preseason maybe give TO one drive the next to last pre season game.
  11. The Bills will develop tendencies based on down and distance. The no huddle means you have to have a limited number of plays to call. For example on 3 rd an 3 they will call one play 50% of the time another 30 % of the time and a third 20% of the time. Belichek and other teams will sub personnel based on that tendency. Like every battle plan our plans will need to be dynamic rather than static. The coaching staff that is better at managing the chess match during the game will come up on top. Of course that is assuming that talent big plays and luck are equal which they seldom are.
  12. We are closing in on a date very soon where Brandon will make him an offer either to sign or cash comes off the table. His Value to the team will start to fall. To some extent it already has.
  13. There is no holding unless an official calls it holding. I could find holding on every play that has been run in the NFL in it's history.
  14. The truth is that most younger fans have never seen a reallly good fullback in a Buffalo Bills uniform and they really don't understand the value of one in late season Buffalo Weather. Pull up some tape of Jim Braxton and Gilcrest running in the cold and snow and I guarantee that you will have new respect for what a hard running full back can do to a defense late in the game.
  15. Hamilton on GR 55 was talking about it. Admitedly not the greatest source. But his info is better than mine.
  16. You had to like what you saw McIntyre do last night.
  17. The problem with Parrish as a receiver is that he does not have a grasp of the offense. If he did he would get a lot more playing time.
  18. The Bills final drive of the game was impressive. On the ground with that big FB running the ball downhill against the Bears. Yes on know both teams were playing reserves at that time. I have not seen the Bills with a big Fullback attack in a lot of years. It reminded me of the Jim Braxton days for a little while!
  19. Progress is the operative word here. They made real progress! They have three more chances to get better before the it starts to count and the Peters decision is looking better every time out.
  20. We can conclude though that he is playing marginal or terrible. Not exactly playing like a top ten Left Tackle. I actually think he is a very good RT that we played at LT out of need.
  21. An interview of Jason Peters is a waste of air time. Did Peters have a wonderlic score?
  22. They have only 2 linebackers and jon Corto from Sacred heart College (where is that?) on the depth chart. Five OL. playing out of position with 2 rookies starting. No backup QB and an unproven starting QB. A WR who has been a bit of a problem everywhere he has been. A starting RB who is wearing a 3 game suspension. ... It seems to me DJ has a ton of excused if he does not get it done this year.
  23. I would suggest to you that Liberal Democrats need right wing militants like conservatives need terrorists. It gets the faithful movitated.
