  1. So take a RT Levitre can play LT along with Bell. My next QB is a Left hander anyway. Actually Jason Peters was a much better RT than he has been a LT the same thing can be said about him. Iaputi is the best OL in this class and i would take him number one. Yes I would trade down if I could.
  2. And with the number one or number Two pick in the 2011 draft they will choose their franchise QB. Sounds like good news to me!
  3. The Bills need to be more competitive with the rest of the league, I have no problem with the increade. I wish the county and State leaders felt the same way about keeping NYS and County taxes competitive with other states that have NFL teams.
  4. I believe that Jimmy Clausen is a good QB. All QB's look like that when they do not get pass protection.
  5. Bill Polian used to say "we do not downgrade players because of performance in all star games, we only upgrade" The new UB coach commented on Pike, and Lefevour who he coached and on Tebow who he coached against. He said all three will succeed in the NFL of course he was being politically correct. Hopefully the Bills will talk with him before the draft I am sure that in private he will be able to differentiate between them. I am sure the Bills will have an oportunity to get one of the three in the 2-3 round.
  6. No. What , "great LT", do you think will be around at pick 24?
  7. The problem with Lefevour is that he may climb too high up the charts for the Bills to get him in round 3. A good combine will plant him mid first round. What happens if he is every bit as good as Bradford and Claussen at the combine or if Bradford is still showing effects from his injury?
  8. Wow those stats are almost as good as Dan LeFevour's
  9. We know what he meant, he just did not say it very well. The expression from Pawn stars comes to mind, "Chumley is an idiot but he is our idiot".
  10. Sorry John you are way off base. It was not Lefevour vrs BC and Arizona it was the entire Central Michigan team against those teams. In the Senior Bowl the teams were relatively equal and LeFevour was the best QB on either team. The rap on Brady coming out of college was that his arm strength was average at best. Brady did not get drafted in the first three rounds. At the same stage of their careers LeFevour is a higher rated prospect and he will be drafted higher than Brady was. The odds are that LeFevour will not make it to the hall of fame I don't believe anyone is writing that. However there were a lot of players taken before Brady's number was called on draft day.
  11. I tend to agree with you but if none of us played armchair GM this board would be empty.
  12. He reminds me of a prize fighter who has taken a really bad beating. They are never the same afterwards.
  13. Actually I thought Hargrove was Hargrove. Some very good Pressures followed by a really stupid Penalty that could have cost the Saints the game. Fortunately there is enough talent around him that he got away with it this time.
  14. Agree 100% all McNabb would do is sell ticket it's a temporary fix. That said they may need to sell some tickets to keep the Bills in Buffalo and not turn into Jacksonville.
  15. Did you also notice that both QB's had time to throw the ball and the luxury to step up in the pocket and set their feet to make those great throws? Also did you notice that on the interception that Peyton throw to seal the win for the Saints that there was excellent pressure from the Right DE that blew up the timing on the play and allowed the ball to be intercepted on a great play from Porter? Football games are won and lost in the trenches more often than not. This game was not an exception. Two great QB's whose excellent play cancelled each other out. I hate to say it but game ball to Greg Williams and the Saints D.
  16. I could live with those picks!
  17. I think on a scale of one to five with 5 being the player I would most want to move Lynch is a 4. I would not feel compelled to trade him but you have to admit he is a high risk player. His next indiscretion could be his last for a while. If there were another player at a position of need I would deal him. Of course then the Bills would need another running back soon becase you always need two and our strarter is 30 years old.
  18. Perhaps the Bills are serious about building a team that can win a championship and not one that can just get back to .500 football or just making the playoffs and not winning them. it will time and multiple strong drafts followed by the signing of key free agents.
  19. This should push him into retirement mode or trade mode.
  20. It also means that T.O does not consider Buffalo part of his past. Buffalo is part of his present.
  21. This is an important move Nix need someone to hand the job to 3-5 years from now.
  22. I like Bulaga but I would rather Iaputi than Davis. The rap on Davis is consistancy and motivation. I remember we drafted a very talented LT once opon a time that did not want to play football. That would keep me away from Davis. Our talent evaluators have to ask the question. Will the money change this Player? They have to ask that question with regard to anyone in top three picks.
