I like Nix. I do think he blew the Incognito deal and he did not help the OL enough. I think he is a poor GM but a good personnel man. I do not think that Ralph Wilaon wants a real, "Polian Style" GM.

That is certainly true. Fitz will QB until the Bye week and then Brohm will take over. They might win 2 games with Brohm. They will control the ball longer and the games will be more interesting. Fitz is a backup and he will always be a backup I really don't get it at all. I do sense the non football people at work here trying to get a win before they play in Toronto again.

If the Bills leave Buffalo we will all find something else to do. If you really love football go out an buy season tickets for the UB Bulls. They are more fun than the Bills and you can buy season tickets for roughly the price of a Bills ticket. Alternatively take up Golf, Fishing, Sailing or Skiing.

Maybe they released him because he is over aggressive like Incognito. The Bills are fond of "Passive" linemen who are into Yoga and leave "Peaceprints". This guy might not fit in with them.

The OL situation is now at the desperate stage they need to Cut Green and Sign Gandy. Then they need to sign that Williams kid who no one will touch because he did his sister to the practice squad. Frankly I don't care if Williams did his sister as long as he stays away from my sister.

Edwards was bad yesterday but not horrible. Few QB's look good when there is virtually no running game and he did make some nice throws. Yes he bailed out early. When Edwards get's rocked early he bails out. The Bills need to pull him out for a series or two when than happens and settle him down. Give Fitz a series or two to calm things and then put Edwards back in. The Bills and some fans here need to lower their expectations for this season. If at the bye week we are not getting .500 ball out of Edwards then we need to make a change. I am predicting that change will be Brian Brohm.

Buffalo lineman were holding on several plays that did not get called. It was not a good day for refs.

It does not matter 3.7 yds is a first down every three downs. If we had 130 yds rushing and 30 plus carries we win the game not the Dolphins. Actually from an analysis view 36 running attempts is awesome domination. Teams that run the ball that many times usually win. If you look at the numbers generated by their running backs they averaged over 4 yds a crack that's domination. There were 2 "carries" by Henne which were not really runs and a trick reverse that failed.

Edwards took a huge shot in the first quarter. He does not play well if you hit him hard early. Unfortunately with this OL it's going to happen a lot.

Check your stats NFL.com has the Dolphins with 31 carries for 132 yards that is over 4 yards a carry and 31 rushes is very good. When NFL teams rush the ball more than 30 times they win more often than not. If you can get 4 yards a crack you score a touchdown every time you have the ball that is an excellent stat. The Bills on the other hand got 50 yards on 17 carries= pathetic There was not a chance in Hell that Incognito was going to sit out an NFL season. You are not talking about a guy who can command a 20 million dollar a year paycheck.

He looked like an all pro blew the Bills off the ball on running plays. He was solid in Pass protection. If the Bills would have signed him the pressure up the middle would have been less. That was a serious personnel error on the part of the front office. This was a close game at the end a little better protection and the Bills might have pulled it out.

The Bills offense showed promise in the preseason. If what we saw was real it should be an exciting game. The big question for the Bills may be: Can they stop Miami's running game? The Bills are out of ammunition at LB and Poz has not looked strong early.

Like Gailey said you only have 8 slots on the practice squad so normally you carry 2 active QB's on your regular roster and 1 PS or 3 on the regular roster. The 3rd QB runs the Scout team. Few teams carry 4 QB's technically the 4th guy does not have anything to do. Levi Brown's agent may not want him with a team if he can't lean by being the scout team QB. It's possible that Brown want's to see if he has options or Gailey/Nix do not want 4 QB's. My guess is that some team will eventually sign Brown to a PS It may still even be the Bills.

I listened to the Bulldog the morning after the lions game and I almost spit out my morning coffee when I heard him say that Brohm should be cut. He either did not watch that game or he does not have a clue when it comes to evaluation of football talent. I swear he looked at the stats and saw the interception and no touchdowns and came to a very wrong conclusion.

I can justify Buddy Nix as a GM if he can perform at this time of the year and during the draft. Buddy needs to show us something right now. The Bills need 2 OL one Tackle and one Guard for back up purposes. Gailey has already said that his current starters are not ready to go the whole game. If he gets one it's an B grade two is an A grade. None is a D grade. I also see them needing another Tight End who can both block and catch. He does not have to get down the field just move the chains and help out in the run game. Buddy we need three serviceable players out of you. PS. I do think that Nix did a good job with the draft and signing UDFA's. Signing veteran free agents is not a priority right now teams only do that when they are contenders for championships the Bills are not at that stage of development.
