  1. Yeah, this is definitely a bunk story...who knows, maybe it's true that she said that, not doubting you, but she was probably just misinformed because the whole thing doesn't make a shred of sense...wouldn't the Jets be a more worrisome situation for the Pats?
  2. They have a great coaching staff as well...I find it funny that's it so underrated but is heavily filled with Bill Cowher's former staff.
  3. No, it's actually not more important because it doesn't need to happen. Whether the ball touches out of bounds or not is irrelevant. If the ball hits a player who is out of bounds then the ball is dead no matter where it is. It looked to me like the ball hit the Eagles player, apparently it looked to you like it didn't. Sounds like it's pretty indisputable then...not sure what the issue is with the call.
  4. That's the absolute right call...actually Philly got screwed...the ball should be on the 40. If a player is out of bounds and the ball touches them, the ball is out of bounds...didn't that happen with leon Washington against us?
  5. It's an inside joke on the board dude, take it easy...look up Skooby's post on Jauron being fired.
  6. As long as it's not a guy with a "high motor"...we already have plenty of those.
  7. Well, I'm not so sure if he was the hottest DC so much as Donahoe made him...remember we were the last team to wait around for Lewis and Fox and all the other teams that hired coaches that offseason passed on 'ole Gregg...hindsight is he probably was never that good to begin with.
  8. Or what happens if all of the DE's getting taken early since those other guys didn't declare? Raji or another DT? An LB?
  9. The guy from Shawshank is definitely a bad guy...that guy is ALWAYS a bad guy...
  10. After two long years 24 is back...with a rather weak excuse in regards to Tony being alive...
  11. How does that make sense? If he rehab goes well he should be ready to go by opening day...how exactly will he not be able to contribute? He's had a full season of practice already, it's not like he's going to be a rookie next year and in a new system...
  12. I'm just a little skeptical of drafting a TE in the first round as that always seems like a crap shoot...not sure what other options we have in free agency. It is a huge hole to fill.
  13. That's most likely it...everyone who puts in to explore forgoing their senior year gets an evaluation from independent scouts placing them where they likely would end up in the draft. Tebow must not have liked what he heard...
  14. NOW it's over thanks to that pretty pass from McNabb to DeSean Jackson. And kudos to Reid for staying aggressive.
  15. Giants have barely done anything on O all day...I think the safe call was the right one in that situation.
  16. Yeha and as much as I hate to say it, Aikman and Moose are not bad either
  17. What about L.J. Smith? He's got all the talent in the world, he's an East Coast kid but he's always injured. He would definitely bring an added dimension to the offense and we may be able to get him on the cheap since he is coming off of an injury riddled season. Is he worth it?
  18. Alright then, let's go ahead and trade Donte to the Ravens for a 5th round pick. See how he does in Baltimore next year...
  19. I've never understood people who can't admit that when some people leave Buffalo and become or remain productive, a lot of it has to do with the players around them and the system. Not saying that Leonhard isn't a good smart player, because he is, but if anyone here doesn't think Whitner or even Simpson would be making more of an impact if they're wearing the purple and gold rather than the Buffalo blue, you are kidding yourself.
  20. I'd take Reed on the football field but if I was in trouble with the cops I would take Ko.
  21. Looks like he botched that delay of game no call by a good second.
  22. But, but continuity is the best way to go...
  23. OK, technically he didn't but his hold out caused him to miss games. I'm not saying trade the guy, quite the contrary, but I don't see how anyone can condone how he handled the situation.
  24. Um, way to twist the facts to support your argument...8-8 and 9-7 were the two best records of the five years...it went 3-13, 8-8, 6-10, 9-7, 5-11...are you really claiming that that track record is better than 7-9, 7-9, 7-9? Tom Donahoe was a failure, plain and simple. Say what you will about Levy, Jauron, Brandon, etc. but none of what they have or have not accomplished has no bearing on the simple fact that Tom Donahoe was, in fact, a complete failure here.
  25. Well, in fairness, I'm not sure how you can blame Brandon's "propaganda machine". Peters' actions pretty much spoke for themselves. There is no excuse for missing regular season games due to a hold out. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even talk to peters unless he showed up for OTA's.
