I love when scrubs shoot their mouths off...dude is a back-up, guys like him are a dime a dozen. Half of the teams in the NFL could have signed this guy for marginal depth if they needed...
At least his English and grammar have gotten a bit better...a bit

Dockery isn't a 5.4 hit...he counted something like 6 million against the cap and cutting him was a 5.4 penalty...so the savings were only a half a million or so. That's a difference of 5 mil in your math.
Nope...it was pretty clear he meant that he was going to be under the microscope so to speak so he needed to watch his actions and stay out of trouble but of course people take the words literal and put them in whatever context they want.
I kind of agree. I think Kirwan rounded up and then exaggerated. 5 or 6 million in cap room really could go a long way if you wanted it to...especially with all of the cash to cap room the Bills have left.
That's what I'm guessing. Unless it's more than two games. I'm sure if he gets more than two the union will urge him to appeal, even if he doesn't want to, to preserve current precedent.
IIRC even factoring in the hit for Dockery, we still saved about 500k on the cap. Or it might have been a 500k penalty. Either way it doesn't explain where the 7 mil. of cap room that went to Hangartner, Fitzpatrick, Florence and Thomas.
I think the strategy could blow up in their faces if the labor unrest is settled. Apparently Parker is selling the Bills on guarding against all the big contracts that left tackles are going to get next year in the uncapped year and Jason needs to be compensated now if he misses out on the big money. Of course if the uncapped year is avoided then that extra compensation isn't necessary.
