  1. How exactly has the offense regressed? That's the part I don't get. They return everyone from last year, literally everyone. So it's no worse is equal to last year barring injury. I understand it might not be any better but I fail to see where it got worse?
  2. Yeah...I'm hoping that they are waiting for a surprise cut to become available or something...if not they'll go and settle for Flozell or another vet...I am kinda glad they didn't hurl a big paycheck at a 2nd tier RT after they lost out on Clabo.
  3. What about the train wreck that is the Cincinnati Bengals?
  4. Cincy and Washington are easily worse teams than us and both are desperate for QB's. I'm not even thinking about Luck right now.
  5. Next Sully article - Maybin must gain weight.
  6. Yeah...I think that after last year when the Pats got fed up with him he pretty much packed it in. As a matter of fact I bet he regrets burning his bridges over there.
  7. I actually like him more than Miller. We have pass catchers on offense, I'd rather have a more versatile tight end than a field stretcher.
  8. Boss is still out there...there was talk of the NYG close to re-signing a few days ago but as far as I know he hasn't signed yet.
  9. He might be next even if Barnett does sign.
  10. Ummm...he did pretty well in the 3-4 with the Green Bay Packers didn't he?
  11. Honestly that line is not bad at all with an upgrade at RT...that's why Clabo would have been huge.
  12. I'd rather have Siler...he'd be cheaper and more upside.
  13. A couple people had articles this morning that said the Bills will be patient in the free agent market so I guess maybe that is the case. Really the same thing happened last year when they signed Edwards and Andra Davis.
  14. So? Edwards would have tucked tail and ran away from that skeleton.
  15. I can't feel too strongly one way or another until I see what the money is.
  16. So...I guess they don't have very high hopes for the Saints and/or Pats because one or both would have to be severe disappointments in order for NE to have the ammo to make the trade.
  17. They lose a lot of credibility right at the top by knocking down the Dareus grade because it wasn't a QB. Good teams stay true to the board and don't pick for need. Everyone and their mother had Dareus ahead of Gabbert on their boards.
  18. Bill, I know this is your crusade but why are we counting back to 2006? This regime started making picks last year and it took them to their 11th pick before they took a DB. How long were they supposed to wait? 20 picks? 30? Bottom line is they don't care who the previous regime picked, they are going to fill the team with their guys.
  19. What's interesting is that they drafted the small school guys (Troup/Carrington/Moats) in the "bridge" year and are bringing more experience for year 2. Makes a lot of sense.
  20. Plus it's not that easy...New England was looking to trade out of #33 and couldn't so it's not that surprising that we didn't get the deal we wanted at #34.
  21. FIVE. FIVE years of Brady. Do you think Ryan Mallet will sit behind Brady for that long? They only was he takes a snap as a Pat is if Brady is hurt or he's taking a knee in a blowout.
  22. Mort just tweeted that word out of Carolina is it is 99.9% Newton so now might be the time to start revising the bold predictions to not include anyone but Newton at #1.
  23. Smoking butts in the huddle?
  24. Pretty sure he also broke the Nix promotion as well but I might be confusing that with Chan.
  25. If Easley has talent to go with that size than WR is right with RB at the bottom of our list of needs.
