  1. I'm kind of glad that happened. I'm an old school guy, I like Springsteen and U2 and those guys. Looks like we'll be seeing more of those types of acts after tonight.
  2. Actually Welker and BJGE are both unrestricted free agents. Welker will no doubt be tagged but if Green Ellis walks that is not a small loss....that guy is as efficient as they come.
  3. Honestly I am somewhat encouraged by bit players like Scott and Kirk Morrison wanting to stay in Buffalo...it's almost like they are building something that guys want to see through. Of course that's all out the window if Stevie walks so I guess it's all T.B.D.
  4. Why not us, right? In all seriousness obviously I want the Bills to make it but I will take 12 other teams in the AFC next year (i.e. anyone but the Pats, Steelers, and Colts)
  5. Glad the Pats lost but gotta give props to Belichick for manning up and giving Coughlin the congratulations that he deserved
  6. I think Wood has two more years on his contract.
  7. NBC stills gets two games, opening night and Thanksgiving, but even if you assume the 4 teams in those games will not be on the NFLN games that's still 30.
  8. My math might be fuzzy but isn't there 32 teams? They won't have a game the week of the World Series or the last week of the season so that means 15 games on Thursday night...doesn't that mean two teams will get the shaft?
  9. What can I do for you?
  10. They've had 2 1st rounds picks and 2 2nd round picks for like the past three years. Half the time they trade them back for a pick next year, which is why they always have 2 1st round picks and 2 2nd round picks.
  11. I think it's more the fact that Ginn was out so they were targeting Kyle Williams cause he was not the primary punt returner. I think that might make a lot more sense?
  12. He could have made it so it wasn't left to chance if he just got a firm hold on the ball.
  13. Another thing is you never seem to see them on the sidelines...maybe it's because the networks don't care to show them but not even in the background. You see Modkins near Gailey every once in a while and then they showed Edwards a few times on the sidelines. Is everyone else in the booth? Seriously I even went to a few games and didn't see many coaches on the sidelines.
  14. Ask Falcons fans about that one.
  15. Well technically it wasn't a tackle, just a hit.
  16. Either way short of Luck or RG3 falling to us I don't see a guy in the draft that is going to supplant Fitz as the starter next year.
  17. Depends on if Easley is ready to come in and finally contribute next year. Assuming we get Stevie and a new outside guy or two new outside guys Nelson is locked into the #3 spot. Jones wasn't too bad his rookie year (actually he wasn't too bad last year, just not a good #2). I'd give Jones the edge over Easley right now for that fourth slot.
  18. Yup...Even if Blackmon is gone Michael Floyd is 6-3 and Alshon Jeffery is 6-4 if there isn't a pass rusher they like that high.
  19. Was thinking more along the lines of Nelson, Easley, and even Stevie if we resign him. Our smallest receiver would be Donald Jones and he is taller than Evans, Reed, and Roscoe who we ran with as our top 3 for how many years? It's a similar philosophy that that Chargers use at WR. Hardy was a dumb pick by a bad regime.
  20. Sounds like he's not just looking for a receiver but a receiver with size. Which is interesting because they already have pretty good size with the guys they got. I also wonder if Vincent Jackson will be a target if Stevie walks.
  21. Also emphatically said that Pears was not an option at LT...he's the RT.
  22. In their defense they seemed to be aggressive on Clabo last year but he was just using them as leverage.
  23. Joe Buscaglia @JoeB_WGR 14m Checked in at One #Bills Drive ready for Buddy Nix to speak at 11 am. One more reminder, it'll be live on @WGR550 and WGR550.com EDIT: Also if you click on the link at buffalobills.com it sends you to the WGR stream.
  24. Off the top of my head the Giants, Texans, Packers, Broncos out of the playoff teams. Belichick uses 3 or 4, depending on whether or not Kevin Faulk is active. It can be done quite easily.
  25. LT is a problem...I don't think Hairston is ready and Bell is too injury prone to invest in. I'm fine with all of the other guys on the line.
