  1. Please. The Saints are better at two positions: QB and TE. Bring Breese to Buffalo and the BILLS are one of the best teams in the NFL.
  2. My wife actually shows the movie "Radio" to her classes the first week of school every year because it helps kids understand the effect they can have when they are positive and helpful instead of bullying jackasses. I've never gotten the whole "bullying" thing, especially with people who are obviously suffering.
  3. Currently watching Battlestar Galactica (the new one). It's pretty good!
  4. Actually it's the first whistle after the 14, 10, and 6 minute marks.
  5. It's a pretty good trade considering you're giving up 2 older free agents to be. The key to it was the picks. Stewart is a very talented, very physical guy who isn't always motivated. When he's on he's a bear to deal with and he will protect his teammates. Hitchcock had a tough time getting him to play at a high level every night - maybe Ted Nolan has better luck. Halak is an enigma. Feast or famine. He's had a tough time staying healthy. I don't see him sticking around. The key piece to the deal might be Carrier. He reminds me a little of Oshie when he was in college, though he's not as good a skater.
  6. Halak, Chris Stewart, William Carrier, 2015 1st Rounder, 2016 3rd Rounder.
  7. I don't understand why it's even a story. Who really cares?
  8. My favorite is the recent "tour" by Biden where he touts all the jobs for firefighters, teachers, and police the stimulus "created". Way to understand economics, brainiac.
  9. http://www.boston.co...wRdJ/story.html "Each spoke of restraining (Massachusett's) health care costs, which now devour about 40 percent of the state budget and are projected to grow. " Rut roooooooooooooo.
  10. I'm pretty sure that's how you get two minutes in the box and then feel shame.
  11. There aren't any real "Draft Rules of Thumb" since the new CBA went into place. The BILLS need to pick a player that turns out to be a Pro Bowl caliber player within the first 3 years of the contract - that's the only real measure that matters. I'll bet Peyton Manning would argue that better edge blockers would have made a huge difference in the Super Bowl.
  12. Marinade it in oil, fresh garlic, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce and broth in a large bowl then stir in the cumin, salt, pepper and oregano.
  13. The only thing that matters is the price of the car. What's the price of the car? You negotiate that and only that until it's settled. I don't think I'd finance a used vehicle for 75 months unless I was planning on keeping it that long. You're going to spend a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time upside down.
  14. I've been watching hockey for a long time. The greatest equalizer in the world is a great night by a goaltender, as evidenced by Hasek's entire career as a Sabre. I think the Swedish goaltender for the women's team might have had one of the best performances I've ever seen in the semi-finals. The team gave up six goals but it should have been 35.
  15. I don't think getting outshot by a 5-to-1 margin is "coming to play".
  16. That was something. I think Quick struggled a bit today and we had some issues with the Olympic ice, especially at the defensive end but this team is deep front, back, and in the net. USA Hockey is definitely going in the right direction. Dear Olympic Officials: Elbowing is a penalty. I counted at least 5 today that the Russians threw. None were called. That shootout was a nail biter. I was literally shaking when it ended. High drama and great theater. Please don't ever take the pros out of the games. The hockey is breathtaking.
  17. Probably some of the keys breaking loose.
  18. Michael Rappaport is really growing on me in this role. I can't wait for the next episode.
  19. I love the Olympics both Winter and Summer. If someone twisted my arm I'd say I prefer the Winter games more but it's not much of a margin. I think the Olympics are the best sporting events the world has to offer. I wish my work schedule wasn't so hectic because I'd take 2 weeks of vacation and waste as many hours as I could watching it. The stories that come out of each games are amazing. Whenever they show "look back" video of those moments, regardless of what country the athletes are from its very emotional. I still get choked up when I see the footage from "The Miracle on Ice" at Lake Placid, Kerry Strug landing that vault, Lezak swimming the leg of his life to save Phelps' record gold medal run, etc.
