  1. Let me know when junior Biden runs for something so I can not vote for him.
  2. Cruze? Is that an example of your education level? What about your inability to use capital letters and proper sentence structure? I know, I know, it's just a message board and we lower class folks just aren't worth the extra tenths of a second it would take to do things the right way. Whatever. You're a !@#$ing hypocrite. Always have been, always will be.
  3. There's no way we don't see Gareth again. Rick told him he was going to kill him with the machete. That's pretty obvious foreshadowing.
  4. This board was all over Aaron Williams for over a season. Now he's one of our best players. I will say that the lack of effort on the last TD is inexcusable.
  5. Four receivers active. Could be an issue. Hogan/Goodwin/Woods will need to step up.
  6. Why? They do it right all across the board. Great team, good guys, good manager, really likeable GM, awesome stadium, and terrific fans who fill the park every game. One of my favorite things about St Louis is watching how they treat departed players when they return. Absolutely first class.
  7. That was some game and series. A real nail biter all the way through. Kershaw had grade "A" stuff tonight through the sixth. Then it just imploded. I thought Rosenthal was going to blow it.
  8. My favorite play of the Lions' game was a play on the TD drive that showed the clear difference between Orton and Manuel. It was 2nd-and-long from about our 40. Orton drops back, pump fakes, and as the pocket collapses around him, throws a strike to Woods just past midfield. There are 4 Lions around Woods so Orton throws the ball about a foot off the turf, protecting him from getting killed while getting a first down. Just a savvy veteran recognizing the coverage and making exactly the right decision and throw.
  9. Any chance we could use a laser pointer to show CJ where the holes are?
  10. Everytime I see your screen name, I laugh a little. Every single time. Not too long ago, one of the ESPN radio hacks was interviewing Ted Williams' daughter. I thought of your screen name. And laughed.
  11. Perhaps that's because everytime Spiller is in the game on a passing down defenses blitz because they know he can't pick it up. Nah. That's not it. I guess you missed the part about "STARTING" running back. Try again.
  12. It's not "odd". It's our defensive guys flying all over the place crushing bitches.
  13. Name a starting NFL running back that can't run between the tackles and is only effective "in space."
  14. Missed tackles aren't broken tackles and it's not 2012 anymore.
  15. I've watched Sproles for years. CJ Spiller is no Sproles. Spiller seems to be petrified of contact and the next tackle he breaks will be the first. I get your point but Spiller simply isn't physical enough to have sustained success in the NFL. I'd like to see the BILLS use him more like Harvin but I don't think he's even that kind of player.
  16. What do you expect? He's a college OC. Isn't that the point?
  17. I'd say around pick 20 we're looking at about $9M over 4 years. Not crazy money but maybe that's the difference in keeping a guy like Hughes.
  18. Watkins got about $20,000,000 over 4 years. That's the neighborhood I'm talking about. There are plenty of veteran players you can find for that money who are pretty much guaranteed to perform or the money can be spent keeping your own free agents (novel concept).
  19. Dear Defenses, Our starting running back can't run between the tackles so there's no need to bother defending anything between the numbers. Our backup, however, isn't allergic to contact and can actually see holes that are NFL-sized and then get through them on a regular basis. So when he's in the game: LOOK THE !@#$ OUT! Sincerely, The Buffalo BILLS
  20. The big question is what we do with the money we save from not having the pick. Does it allow us to keep a player or two or go out and sign a blue chip veteran? If that's the case, then it's a good trade.
  21. A crossing route? You mean moving an uncovered guy into coverage?
