  1. Chris Neil is still an enormous piece of ****.
  2. I had a teacher who refused to give perfect grades, even when that's what was earned. I think if I saw him now I'd punch him in the face.
  3. Legwand is so smart on the defensive end. You can count the number of mistakes he's made all year on one hand.
  4. Obamacare is obviously too big to fail, right Democrats?
  5. He's a goalie. They ALL do it. ALL of them.
  6. It's not excessive, it's based on the law. Look up the legal definition of punitive.
  7. "Just not into the fight"? Are you !@#$ing kidding? McGregor is a typical bully. The reason he was "just not into the fight" was because Diaz had turned the tables and was kicking his ass.
  8. So the one example of McGregor's strong chin you have is a wrestler with a 9 inch reach disadvantage who was dumping 45 seconds into the fight because he had no camp? Lotsa credibility there. I hope he decides to spend some time at 155 against guys his size. He's gonna get wrecked but all the fights will be entertaining.
  9. Excuses. Your boy said he was making balloon animals and teaching Sunday School. John Jones and GSP called. They're laughing really hard. #Exposed
  10. From who? Strong? The one thing Nate Diaz most definitely isn't is strong. That's his biggest problem.
  11. Off to smooch with your Toney cardboard doll? He said he'd fight anyone, anytime. Stop making excuses. #Exposed
  12. Clearly? It was ONE round and while McGregor won it, Diaz is almost always a slow starter. Your boy got exposed and was on his back for like six seconds before he turtled, just like I told you he would. Bottom eschelon ground game. EXPOSED.
  13. I'm not sure what fights you watch but Toney was not in control on the ground at all in round one. Diaz had him completely baffled and took zero damage during that exchange. McGregor's lack of respect for his opponents will only work when he has a tremendous size advantage. He takes a lot of shots because of his style and there are a lot of guys at 155 that will test that chin who punch way harder than Diaz.
  14. I just started laughing when he changed levels.
  15. Nice ground game, Conor Toney. Back to fighting smurfs.
  16. I don't see the Sabres bothering with McGinn. He's a pretty typical winger who will get a contract that will be above his production. He's not really good enough offensively to play Top 6 and he's not really good enough defensively and his contract will cost too much to have him play Bottom 6.
  17. If he went back to Tampa it would come as a total surprise. Someone is going to give him a crazy deal for a long time because he's one of the best offensive players in the NHL. GMTM has a great relationship with his agent and we're so much closer to contending than Toronto with none of the issues that come with playing in that fishbowl. Is it possible he ends up in Buffalo? I think we have better odds than any team in the NHL of landing him if GMTM wants to make the leap.
  18. Agree. Eichel could very well be the better player in the post season, where space is at a premium and games are won along the wall. All of those things will shake themselves out over a long term. Both players have a very high ceiling. It's going to be interesting to see how each develops over time and how they fare in the postseason (at some point both HAVE to get there, right?). The next two seasons for the Sabres are critical. They need to have two more good drafts and have success in both the free agency and trade markets. They're not far from contending and they have the right structure in place to do it.
  19. The entire team can't score and hasn't all year. Everyone pretty much penciled in Ennis and Moulson for about 40 goals between them. They have 8. If we were getting average production with our goaltending we'd be fighting for a playoff spot.
  20. You say you've watched fighting since the beginning yet don't see how obvious it is that the much bigger and longer McGregor has been dealt a very favorable hand. He landed a puncher's punch while barely slipping same when fighting Aldo. He got Mendes with no camp. Those are his two "quality" wins. I'd love to see him fight Mendes with both fighters having a full camp. Mendes was breathing through his mouth 45 seconds into the fight and was totally gassed when he went for that ridiculous guillotine because he knew his tank was empty. Despite having no gas and no camp, he easily put McGregor on his back in each round and controlled him for the vast majority of the second. Comparing McGregor favorably to GSP and Jones is ridiculous, pathetic, and removes any credibility you may have had. You sound like all the clowns who were all over Machida. Rousey, and Lesner. Each of whom were coddled similarly and then got absolutely wasted when they fought people with superior skills in the disciplines they were weakest at. Every time it happens ol' Dana looks like he's burying one of his kids. McGregor's time is coming, though I suspect Dana and Lorenzo are going to keep the charade going as long as they can because the money is oh so good. McGregor may beat Diaz because Nate is both stupid and lacks real power but he's eventually going to have to fight someone with superior ground skills who is smart enough to use them and when he does he's going to get embarrassed. I don't give a **** who he's rolling with when he's in his underwear or how good he looks when he's doing it. Once that cage door locks, he's in the bottom echelon of UFC fighters when he's on his back. One more thing: people who disagree with you on McGregor aren't "haters". I like McGregor because he's entertaining and he comes to fight. But I'm not jaded enough to ignore his very obvious weaknesses. On the ground he's barely better than James Toney.
  21. No he hasn't. He's beaten "guy". And that means positively dick.
  22. You raised "Rudy". That's awesome.
