  1. Technology in cars has come a looooooooooooong way.
  2. Once again, Herb Dean proves how little feel he has for when a fight needs to be stopped.
  3. It was Edmond Tarverdyan, so whatever it was he most likely deserved it. Dude is a total douche nozzle.
  4. A bunch of nothing. Myers is the only one who had any chance of being a cog when the team began contending but he had obviously regressed so a change of scenery was most likely in the cards. The team was filled with passengers so Murray dumped a few of them for a chance at 2 very highly drafted players while increasing the odds of getting McEichel.
  5. We didn't get hustled. We gave up underperforming players for a chance on an elite talent. Stafford, Armia, and Myers don't add up to jack squat.
  6. If there's one thing the government is good at, it's negotiating for the lowest price. Said no one. Ever.
  7. Not that any lucid person doesn't already know this but...No real leader ever publicly takes options off the table in such a fluid situation. It's such a good thing for America that Mrs. Clinton is the "most qualified candidate ever."
  8. Guacamole. Olives. Mushrooms anywhere except a sauce. Cheddar cheese. Sour Cream.
  9. I've read some stuff about what goes on in foreign countries, especially Europe and Asia. It's the worst of humanity.
  10. It is all but impossible for human beings to remain on a constant state of alert.
  11. Nice to see TPS is here using his cherry picked statistics to prop up statist policies. Some things never change.
  12. Why you'd play the guy against Seattle's defense in a meaningless preseason game is beyond me. Preseason is stupid.
  13. Way to contradict yourself. You can have Brazil and most of Central/South America. The governments are remarkably corrupt (try and explain the $11k that the American swimmer had to pay for doing exactly NOTHING or the fact that they want to waste resources prosecuting Lochte instead of the murderers who've infested the favaelas) and it doesn't matter how cheap it is. The Olympics came to town, and for one tiny sliver of time we get to forget about all the Third World problems that go on there. The Lochte "situation" has literally happened to me over a dozen times in my travels through the region. He may have exaggerated a little but his experience is very close to the norm. And every large city has places you don't go. The fact that Brazilian gas stations have armed security should tell every lucid person everything they need to know. Sell your cheap whores and meat to people who give a **** about such trivialities.
  14. So Brazil is awesome but people need security to go with them everywhere. Got it.
  15. It is among people who actually understand the NHL, the draft, and the rules.
  16. Anyone who has spent any amount of time in Central or South America has had a police officer try to extort money from them. It's happened to me numerous times. You don't even have to do anything wrong...Just look like you have money.
  17. Contact Hyundai Customer Service directly. I went through a similar experience with a Chevy dealer a few years back. Chevy corporate was obviously not very nice to the dealership because the manager at the dealer was not super happy that he got smacked. I told him I had it in for the same service three times - he had his chance(s) and failed. He wasted enough of my time. Fix it right the first time and the conversation with Chevrolet never happens.
  18. Could be a lot of Brazilians who stayed away because they're celebrating the soccer/volleyball golds.
  19. I don't have any issue with him, other than he didn't sign with the Sabres. For that reason alone, he can !@#$ off.
