  1. Does this mean you can't answer the simple question I asked? As far as the rest of the post, the current Republican Party is in no way conservative. Campaign like Libertarians, Govern like Liberals. I'm sorry you can't see the parallel, but I'm not at all surprised.
  2. Maybe they knew about the married chic who wanted to bang you?
  3. Do you read your own posts? I'm sorry you can't see the correlation between attempting to fix every problem by throwing massive amounts of money at it. You know, like you don't have to be an economist to know what a doller is. Really? Why don't you tell me the un"coplicated" reasons. I'm sure it'll be a learning experience for all of us.
  4. I don't disagree with that, either. That's pretty much a function of the power changing hands from the Elders because of the fervor surrounding "child abuse." There's a correlation there too. I'm sure you're smart enough to find it.
  5. Kickball AND "The Today Show"? Turn in your mancard.
  6. Deluca's therapist called. He'd like to thank everyone for finally giving him the attention that his parents refused him during his critical development years.
  7. Gee, I wonder why I initially thought your take was simplistic and silly? Horsehockey. It's not a failed military venture. The military part of it was quite successful. It's been the typical lesson in how little politicians can actually accomplish, despite what amounts to pretty much a blank check - take note of this, liberals. Iraq is a terrific example of why your idea of Motherment WILL NEVER WORK. He didn't use it as "his number" or as a solution. It was an example in comparison to a completely different type of conflict in virtually ever way. I wouldn't call anything else he has stated as hard to fathom, as academia has little practical world experience and prefers to overanalyze things using hindsight as their guide. The Iraq situation was doomed to failure for a variety of reasons. Most of which I doubt you or any of the other lefty parrots could come close to stating with anything other than blind luck. Of course, I pretty much called this from the initial mustering - to a "T". Anyone care to dispute that?
  8. Uh, how about "THOSE WHO REFUSE TO LEARN FROM HISTORY ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT." As far as there being no collective condemnation from the rest of the world, that's certainly a factor but there's only so far you can push before the results are far worse than the initial reason you got involved in the first place. It's pretty close to the same thing as raising a teenager. The more you blather at them not to do something, the more likely they are to do it. No one has ever been able to handle freedom when they've had it thrust upon them. They have to earn it.
  9. Like he would know. He's a kickballer. The only thing they use their hands for is to plead their case when they fall down.
  10. Until they run out of third world countries to recruit from. Islam, like just about every other movement, will eventually implode on itself. The more they attempt to control, the more tenuous the grasp of the hard liners will become. Happens with virtually every entity, regardless of the endeavor. I guess you could call it progress (I'd say you did a better job understanding me than I did you). I look at it as the inevitable consequence of endeavor. Islam is just the latest in a long line of "religions" taking their turn in the box. They'll eventually find their place - which will be nowhere near the top of the food chain, especially once their poor figure out all the bluster ain't making their lives any better.
  11. Lotion Klansmann has turned down USA Kickball. Guess you'll have to try to find some other unpronounceable Euro to lead our men in diving and whining.
  12. Cool. Some Harvard historian with virtually no military background is now advocating something you can regurgitate.
  13. What you're inferring is not what I meant by the phrase. Ok. Christians have changed their stance on the same things as they've lost more and more of their base. It's all about closing the deal.
  14. I'm not sure what you're having difficulty understanding. While Christianity may have a stronghold on certain populaces (meaning the majority of citizens are believers), they don't control governments or policy ANYWHERE in the manner they used to OR Islam does NOW. You may believe that's because of the some kind of reform. I don't. I have little doubt if the Christians were ever to gain such control again (like the Muslims have in Iran as one example), it wouldn't take more than a couple of generations before they started going off the deep end again.
  15. Right, because there's no way the zealots (like the ones who bomb abortion clinics in the name of God) could ever make their way back to the top of the chain. Sorry, mate. History doesn't agree with you. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The phrase exists for a reason.
  16. Really? Which country is ruled by clerics citing strict interpretations of the Bible? Venezuela? Guyana? Give me a break.
  17. I doubt a coaching change is going to fix the lack of "tools" between Willis' ears.
  18. Right now? Nah. They don't have the power required anymore because THEY ALREADY GOT SMACKED DOWN. Thank goodness. Let me know when the Christians or Catholics have complete control of any country again (as Islam does with an entire region of the world). Within a couple of generations, they'd be pulling this crap too. But we can pretend they'd be different because pointing the finger at ourselves or those who theoretically believe as we do is wicked hard.
  19. You mean because the Democrats didn't control Congress for 40 years before 1992 and there wasn't any evidence that oil was going to be a problem? Yeah, it's all because of the Republicans. You know, because the left is such a group of action taking visionaries.
  20. It's not as simple as pointing a finger at Islam. ANY religion, allowed to go unchecked by reality, would be doing exactly the same thing.
