  1. Me too. I was shocked when they actually correctly reversed it. Just because he beat us in the Super Bowl, I hope Parcells keeps coming back and finding ways for his seasons to end just as painfully as this one did.
  2. The toughest teams are at the bottom of the standings (and their aren't many teams I'd consider tough). The only real exception to that rule is Calgary. I do agree that those guys needed to show some moxy at that point - it's not like Sundin was going to actually fight back. The only time he even acts tough is if he's cross checking some other Euro.
  3. Note to the NHL: Please remind the referees to continue to officiate the score everytime the Leafs play. It never gets old seeing them get marginal call after marginal call because they're constantly behind (especially when the opposing team is already down a man - that call on Teppo to put us down 2 for nearly the full 2 minutes was one of the worst I've seen this season). Oh, and that icing call at the end was absolutely ludicrous.
  4. Translation: I was regurgitating the party line (made more difficult by Spitzer's spitter being deep down the ol' gullet) and when I did a quick internet search I found out GG actually knows WTF he's talking about. Hey jackass, your attitude and lack of attention to detail is the reason cases like the Duke Lacrosse one continues to happen. Stop worshipping these a-holes. They ain't worthy.
  5. You're right. I have complained about the lack of media coverage of the "progress." You know why? Because I've been on the ground in that situation and the natives watch fukkin' CNN too. Because the natives never see anything positive being broadcast, but see the most heinous rumors trumpeted as concrete fact for days on end, it tends to put them in a more restless mood where the troops are concerned, which PUTS THE TROOPS IN DANGER. But we can pretend it's for some political capital for a party I don't support. Please give us some more sloganeering along the lines of: "you support the troops." Trust me, they don't want your ignorant kind of support. You let me know when you've attended the funeral of someone you've served with who died right next to you. Then you'll have the right to that discussion, you liberal piece of sh--. Drapped? Moron.
  6. As I have stated AD NAUSEUM: Notre Dame is Michigan State with a better QB and coach. THEY ARE NOT AN ELITE TEAM IN ANY WAY. They have little team speed and their defense is small and slow. The offensive line is for the most part terrible and that becomes VERY evident when the level of competition increases. The top 2 wideouts are maddeningly inconsistant - at times brilliant, then dropping key passes at critical junctures (McKnight absolutely screwed us in the USC game). The kicker was so bad that Charlie stopped even attempting FGs in the SC game. I had no idea you were such a soothsayer. Now NO QB who has ever lived could beat the mighty Trojans (even though a very average ND team lost to them on the last play of the game, what, a month earlier?). Vince Young played a great fourth quarter against an overrated team with an average defense. Let's try to keep in mind the game STILL came down to TEXAS' DEFENSE stopping USC on 4th and 2 on their last drive to even give Young a chance to be a hero. Not ANY different than the ND/USC game, except it was USC who had the ball last in that one. But let's keep this going. Individual players SHOULD be blamed for team losses. That never gets old or intelligent. It's almost as much fun as watching 25% of Steelers' fans calling Bill Cower an average coach today.
  7. I don't see them winning 3 road games against Indy, SD, then either Baltimore or New England. That'll be tough sledding - made tougher by the fact that Herm Edwards is their coach.
  8. At least six of those incompletions were drops of perfectly thrown passes. But don't let the actual game get in the way of super smart arguments like "Vince Young wins games all by himself." You'll be sure to let me know when I can watch him play one-on-eleven, won't you? Hint: I'll wager A LOT of money on the team fielding 11 guys.
  9. Really? Has either CJ or TO ever been named "Humanitarian of the Year" by their team? Or had their own charity for a decade and a half, raising millions for children and the Special Olympics? As far as sucking, Roenick led his team in scoring in 2001 and 2003, was second in 2002, and fifth in 2004 (second in goals scored). I really wish people would stop talking out their ass because the guy made one fuggin' statement that was blown completely out of proportion by the idiots at ESPN.
  10. The Muslim extremism thing didn't "spring up" under Reagan. It was already well underway.
  11. I'll believe Ottawa can win a tough playoff series when they actually do it.
  12. Why do people continue with these stupid arguments. Newsflash, Cletus: INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS DON'T WIN IN TEAM SPORTS. Doug Flutie never won a game by himself, neither did Joe Montana, OR ANYONE ELSE. Notre Dame is a very flawed football team from top to bottom. Quinn is not the problem, nor has he been at any time in the last two seasons.
  13. You know that with this post, you're going to have to spend about 5 pages explaining sarcasm to molson golden showers, right?
  14. Exactly how much input did Charlie Weis have on drafting Rohan Davey? I'd bet virtually none.
  15. Cliff Notes: War sucks and the government sucks at taking care of people, no matter how much taxpayer money they steal.
  16. Your "insults" are perhaps the greatest compliments I could possibly be paid - you know, by a dude who really should wear protective gear 24/7.
  17. I'll leave that to you, my intellectual superior. I'd like you to point out a single instance where I stated anything of the sort. Try and stick to a single coherent thought without implying things. You libs. Just can't go a second without "supporting" the troops. You and Holcomb's Arm should get together and work on deductive reasoning. That'd be a sure winner on par with the best comedy shows in television history. You're just awesome. Love the passion, hate the idiocy.
  18. Yeah, I'd hate to be informed on a topic I'm supposedly passionate about.
  19. I'm doing nothing of the sort, other than exposing yet another liberal hypocrite. Of course there are - but I don't see them applying here. He's talking about people who are breaking the law. How weird for a judge to do that. Which says alot more about what is wrong with our "justice" system than it does about the man. Saying that ILLEGAL immigrants are a problem ain't a problem, nor is it likely to deny them one bit of their due process. There are simply too many checks and balances in the system for one dude to be able to screw that up. Sorry. Which they should, as it has little to do with their ability to do their job. That process is so laughable that I can't even find a better word for it.
  20. I thought you liberals were "anti-labeling"? Or is that only when it comes to whatever group of people you're pandering to? What if he said all murderers are weeds? Does that make him a bigot too? No he didn't. When did illegal immigrants become a "class of people?" What other criminals do you consider "classes of people?" Violent felons? Pedophiles? White Collar thieves? Because I've actually read the story. My lack of issue has nothing to do with his political ideology - and your charge that I "follow it mindlessly" is almost as funny as it is false. You let me know which human being you've met that doesn't have a single bias on any issue. Then we'll be able to find our first real judge. The charge that the big box media doesn't show any of the positive in Iraq is true (just as they only spend about 1% of their time on positive stories about anything) - but it's not an issue and the only reason I'd actually care about it has to do with the safety of the boots on the ground. I don't expect you to understand the importance of the issue, because you're just another mouth breather who can't see the forest for the trees.
  21. You liberals are too intellectual to do a simple google search, huh? Took me about 3 seconds to find the "story."
  22. Alexander is going to be 30 next season. Jackson is going to be 24. You can have Alexander. I'll take Jackson. Jackson is a FAR more punishing runner than Alexander.
