  1. You can't kill milk and orange juice.
  2. Where? I lived in the Bay Area and we have them in Alaska and they're average as hell in both places.
  3. You know, my name is 5 friggin' letters long and there are like 26000 fuggin' examples of it on this website. Have the courtesy to spell it right, aalphabet. Oh, and I didn't assume Young is gay. Do I get a gold star or something?
  4. Former Patriot and SMU RB. In college, he teamed with Eric Dickerson to form the Pony Express. That was when SMU was a pretty strong program - and before they were given the Death Penalty.
  5. What a surprise, Martz is still completely unable to recognize the most simple things put in front of him. Nice job of damage control for the NFL, Mikey - but you're never going to get another HC job at this level, no matter how much sucking up you do for the Head Office. The turnovers didn't beat your team. Your own fuggin' arrogance did them in.
  6. My Father-in-Law has the 1050. Nice machine. Doesn't have as nice a cut as my 42" because of the way the extra blade is setup but it certainly mows much faster, though mine corners much tighter. I don't think the "Deck Wash" system works worth a crap, though. Maybe it's just his machine. The funny thing is he bought that 3 years ago and yesterday he went and got a Ferris 500Z. Paid about $5K for it on a 3 year, no interest deal. That is a serious friggin' lawn mower. Makes the residential tractors look like toys.
  7. Thanks for posting it. I hadn't seen it the first time around. That's a great story.
  8. Nice journalism. Jesus Christ, tell us if he won anything.
  9. Ain't that funny? I bought my first 4 stroke trimmer (Troy-Bilt) last year. Very quiet.
  10. Sorry Guys. Linked the wrong one. Whoops. Looks like the deal ain't quite as good as last year. Price is $1579 now...
  11. I really like it. One of the cool things is the hydrostatic drive is hand controlled, not foot. It's true cruise control. I test drove my Father-in-Law's Cub Cadet (MTD) 1050. It has a foot controlled hydro and with the hills in my yard, my leg got tired pressing down on the damn thing or rocking it back to go in reverse. I don't think you're going to find a better mower at that price and the 4500s are Consumer Reports Best Buys...
  12. It's made by Husqvarna and has a Briggs engine. It's great quality for the price. My push mower is a Craftsman. It's 5.5HP and has started on the first or second pull for 15 years.
  13. That's OK. They'd probably think it was funny to beat him to death for it.
  14. Spend the extra cash. The Hydrostatic Drive is worth the money. I have a Craftsman D4500 80th Anniversary edition. I spent $1400 on it last year and it's on sale again right now for the same price. 42" deck, 24 HP Briggs, hydrostatic drive. It's awesome. I've added mulching blades and a front bumper. 4500 PS. It's made by Husqvarna. Also, if you can get a Sears card, it's interest free for a year. Basically you pick the thing up, take it home, pay $120 a month for a year, and it's yours. Just make sure you pay it off by next May or they'll rape you in interest.
  15. I guess it depends on what your definition of natural is. There are plenty of homosexual animals and there is speculation that it's nature's way of dealing with overpopulation. But I don't think the "animal/people" thing is even on the horizon. I do know that history has shown that much of the "screaming and crying" about similiar stuff (slavery/women's rights/etc) show how silly the argument against homosexual rights really are. I also don't believe you choose who you're attracted to. For example: I'm a big fan of tall, large breasted, athletically built blondes. It's just how I am. There isn't any reason I can point to for it. I don't think homosexuals are any different. They just aren't wired the same and that certainly isn't their fault. I don't think anything you asked is even remotely plausible. I simply don't think the government has the right to tell people who they're allowed to love/spend their lives with and enjoy the same freedoms as the majority. Sh--, I don't have a problem with poligamy amongst consenting adults. If you're a dude and are crazy enough to think you can make more than one chic happy, have at it. I draw the line at the crazy ass religious cult/recruitment thing because it goes against free will.
  16. You're missing the point. Because gasoline is now expensive everywhere, everything costs more. Staple food prices are up from 20-50% over a very short period of time - and that's just one example. Gasoline prices affect everything - and that means that most people have a lot less disposable income. TV doesn't have to sensationalize this. It's a very real crisis, just like it was in the 1970s and its going to get a whole lot worse in the short term.
  17. I'm probably the guy with the most open sense of humor here. I'm not "offended" by it and I'm OK with it on a "free expression" level but it's clearly racist and not at all funny.
  18. Because when it was $1.10, going 500 miles round trip cost $25.00. Now it costs $100 plus all the inflation on food and everything else. If the average American drives 300 miles per week, their bill is now $200 per month instead of $50. That's a lot less free cash available for vacations when extrapolated over a year. Gasoline prices have ALWAYS had a serious effect on the world's economy. It's no coincidence that the economy of the '90s benefitted from gas prices staying flat for 7.5 years.
  19. About the only thing I constantly "thread crap" on is kickball. And I don't even hate the game. Just the idiot fans around the world who tell me I don't love the game because I'm just not smart enough to "get it". Plus, it forces me to come up with new and different ways to insult them and that's a challenge I'm willing to accept. I'm amazed that Howard is still funny after all these years. That's a really hard thing to pull off.
