  1. B.S. The offense was mediocre and it was based on a variety of factors - and Josh Reed's play were rarely a part of it. Frankly I'm sick of people who have very little knowledge of this game calling guys out who're working their asses off in less than optimal conditions for their success. Yeah, it was a big shock to me that a possession receiver like Reed who relies on accurate QBs who can diagnose a defense would flourish with a guy like Edwards in there instead of Bledsoe or Losman.
  2. It's pretty likely that there will be more BILLS fans at the EJD next weekend, especially if Linehan/Ziggy are still around.
  3. Except he hasn't "played poorly for years". He had one rough season and everyone has ridden him since then.
  4. Really? It's pretty rare to see any player ejected for a judgment call. Like I said, the punch is automatic. The Bears got screwed outta their game for a similar play because the refs didn't see Trueblood throw the punch and instead flagged Tillman for a 15 yarder and automatic FD after the Bears had stopped 'em on third down. But they didn't eject him. Good teams tend to get calls. Hmmmm.
  5. Any defense would have had similar results if their offense provided basically nothing. The Raiders defense deserves a ton of credit for physically whipping our asses for about 75% of this game. If they had any offense whatsoever, they'd have won this game in a walk.
  6. Because it was a tackle. A punch is an automatic ejection, which is why Wilson got tossed.
  7. Wilson and the rest of the Raider DBs were tired of getting blocked. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Josh Reed can play for me anytime.
  8. No, it's not. People who sell their tickets have absolutely no recourse to do ANYTHING to people who misbehave. It's the BILLS copping out and screwing over the people they should be doing the most to protect. And it's really quite simple to keep people out of the stadium. If they come back in and you catch them, you prosecute the living hell out of them in a very public manner. Message sent.
  9. Could we please stop repeating this lie? At some point you goddamn parrots are going to realize that everything that is happening now is a CONTINUATION.
  10. You're nothing more than a typical partisan parrot who continually regurgitates rhetoric of perhaps the most corrupt political party in American history. You're obviously not smart enough to actually know what is being done to you but instead will fight tooth and nail for the right to have it done. If you knew ANYTHING about the formation of this country, you'd understand that the current government is EXACTLY like the one the colonists were willing to give their lives up to get away from.
  11. Yeah, because they won't continue to spend us into the third world while continuing to erode liberty at a staggering pace.
  12. How about they just ban those people instead? It's not that difficult a job. Oh wait, that's just too hard. Let's put it on ticket holders to police seats they can't actually be at instead of the team who has an actual security force and legal team for just such issues.
  13. It's just the continuation of a failing story that was compounded by the "crank up the military/industrial complex" mentality of the "Bush Doctrine".
  14. You go out and get right back on that horse, mister. There's a little one out there that needs a good home - someone who cares what happens to them. You owe that to Sammy.
  15. The policy about season ticket holders being "responsible" for the people who use their seats is laughable. I don't disagree with the rest of it.
  16. As someone who has been subjected to "Raider Nation" and their antics, I have a hard time pitying that particular team.
  17. Maybe you should learn the definition of sarcasm.
  18. Revisionist history. Bledsoe had a typical Bledsoe season. He was good early, then imploded. And of course his OLinemen got hurt - they have to work a hell of a lot harder picking up the extra rushers that teams consistantly send because he couldn't deal with regular pressure. Really Bill? A veteran QB is better than a rookie with no starts? That's such a stretch. Handing Losman the job when it was clear he wasn't ready to play was the first mistake in a long line of them but getting rid of Bledsoe wasn't part of the problem. Why does he have to be a star? Everyone wants to throw the guy under the bus because Mularkey/Clements/Fairchild couldn't get their offensive sh-- together and screwed the kid over completely.
  19. Because McFadden is a "once a decade" back. That dude is a homerun. The bigger question is whether they'll ever get the rest of the organization together, not whether they should have picked McFadden.
  20. No. Bledsoe was done. Whatever. The fact is that NO QB would have had success in the abortion the BILLS have been trying to pretend was an NFL offense since Losman was drafted.
  21. I can't say I've seen or know much of what's gone on there but I know what's happened with Losman and it was destined for disaster from the start.
