The game changed on the Edwards' "pass" that ended up in the hands of Josh Reed during the first drive of the third quarter. That led to the Jackson TD and the Rams went into "whoa is me" mode. If you think the BILLS weren't being dominated to that point, you're dead wrong.

Given the government's history, the very idea that they'll do something right and cost the taxpayers less money is a pretty big reach. But I'm all for pretending they'll be competent if you're along for the ride. As long as domination can be defined by charade and "at the end of a spear".

Cris Carter is a HoFer and he's not wrong that we really haven't played anyone. What decent team shouldn't have beaten Oakland, St Louis, and Seattle (at home with the Chickens injury situation)? The season is a quarter over and record-wise the BILLS couldn't be better. But that doesn't mean there aren't serious questions for this football team. It also doesn't mean they aren't making progress because they certainly are.

And both are just as wrong.

That wasn't the same offense the Rams have fielded the first 3 weeks. This is their first season with Al Saunders as the OC and having Green in for Bulger made a big difference for them. Green's best seasons in KC came with Saunders at the helm and he's very comfortable and makes quick decisions. The wrinkles they put in (90 flip for example) worked very well and Donnie Avery's speed was a much needed compliment that was missing when Drew Bennett was out there. That kid looks light years ahead of Hardy at this point. Oh, and Jacob Bell looked pretty goddamn good in the running game during the first half. Of course, this was his first game back after missing the last 2. Like I said earlier in the week, the Rams have plenty of talent but the fact that they hate their head coach and have injuries at some pretty key positions have people making ridiculous statements about them.
