  1. No. Martz is nuts. There is a reason that his teams have multiple QBs injured every season. To say nothing of the BILLS not having close to the OLine/skill personnel required. People call the guy a genius but the offense he had in St Louis had Hall of Fame personnel. We saw how smart he really was against both the Titans and Patriots in the Super Bowl. They should have won both those games in blowouts.
  2. NO. NO. NO. NO. Why do people continually ask this question? Do you actually know anything about Martz or his offense? Obviously not or you'd realize how absolutely ludicrous that question really is.
  3. Oh, I think Ralph wants to win - he just wants to do it as cheaply as possible with his inner circle of guys like Littman as close as possible. He just can't change his ways and thinks he was somehow involved in the only real good teams the BILLS ever had when it's really the furthest thing from the truth.
  4. You know, I don't know too many places that'll be looking to build or upgrade a stadium in the next few seasons with the economy the way it is. Not saying it doesn't exist or won't happen but the odds don't look good right now. Besides, when Ralph dies it looks all but inevitable that the BILLS are going to move.
  5. I don't think there's any question that's a factor but with Ralph it's always about the money where coaches are concerned. Ralph made another poor business decision early in the season when he rode the wave of excitement and gave Mr. Jauron an extension based on a sprint, rather than a marathon. Leading after 5 miles isn't the same as finishing last after 26.3, but Ralph has ALWAYS been about the bottom line where staff positions are involved. I mean really, who has a guy like Jeff Littman in a meeting about whether or not to can the !@#$ing head coach? Was Ralph really worried about Dick Jauron being courted by another franchise at the end of the season? The only question is whether or not BILLS fans have the brass ones required to not show up next season. I'll bet they don't.
  6. They don't care. They'll only care if the building is empty in September.
  7. Bull. I have zero doubt that if you swapped coaching staffs yesterday, the BILLS win. The BILLS have more than enough talent to get a playoff spot.
  8. When Linehan left, they won 2 straight against teams that guys like you would have felt were way more talented. That was no surprise to me, nor was the collapse that followed once Jackson got hurt. Just like it was no surprise to me that the Bills ended 7-9 after a promising start. Losers find ways to lose in the same manner teams like the Patriots win playoff games with Hank "didn't play a regular season down" Poteat lining up at corner. The fact is it's pretty rare for coaching changes to work during a season in the NFL, which is why it almost never happens. The organization in St Louis wanted to wait another season because they are trying to sell. They knew they'd have trouble getting any "name" guy to come in given the situation plus wanted to give the new owner a chance to pick his own people but it got so bad in the locker room they made the change. There are reasons guys like Parcells and Schottenheimer are able to turn their teams around in one offseason and it isn't a sudden influx of top level talent. I know, everyone suddenly feared the Dolphins this offseason when they were bringing in guys like Chad Pennington. They became the chic pick, right? Guys like Kreider are exactly what Parcells and other winners bring in - because they know what it takes to win.
  9. The Dolphins aren't winning because they "signed a lot of FA and traded away Jason Taylor".
  10. Nice try at backpedaling, assclown. My definition is pretty much the same as it's always been. YOUR contention has been the Rams have no talent. That is absolutely asinine and shows just how little understanding you have of both the situation and the professional sports as a whole. Now back to chasing me around for some of the attention your parents didn't give you as a youth.
  11. And your point? I've never argued that the Rams are a good football team. Anyone who says they (or any NFL team) doesn't have talent is a !@#$ing simpleton. Period. To say that is to believe that the personnel changes from last season are worth 9 friggin' wins (to date). That's absolute folly.
  12. That's what I get for listening to the local sports guy. It looks like they were playing for the 5th seed only, which makes the fact that they left their starters in the whole game seem kinda curious.
  13. Yeah, they looked pretty terrible today on the road against an Atlanta team that had to win to get into the playoffs. And I'd hardly call the Rams front office "genius" - quite the opposite, really. They finally nutted up and got rid of most of the problem. It's kinda funny, really because their history in St Louis mirrors Buffalo so much.
  14. Polian was the GM for 2 actual seasons of football and the team went from expansion to the NFC Championship game. Whether he "lucked" into Peyton Manning or not, his record of success is undeniable and unmatched. And of course, our owner FIRED him.
  15. Breese falls 15 friggin' yards short of breaking Jenny Craig Marino's passing record. The only way this gets worse is if Miami or Baltimore lose and New England gets in.
  16. Heap is injury prone because he's played with guts on a team with NO vertical passing game. He'd be ridiculous on a team like Dallas.
  17. It helps when you know the guy across the field is a compete blockhead.
  18. 12 win seasons' for Bill Polian's Colts. Ralph, you doddering fool.
