  1. Welcome to the downside of big government. When you turn over so much power and cash, you ought not be surprised when they use a lot of it for things that totally suck.
  2. You got me there. I screw that one up all the time - basically laziness. I had effect the first time and changed it because it didn't look right. "Most"? Actually, that's incorrect according to just about every reference out there. You know, since they're cited as the most misused homonyms in just about every credible publication on the subject. Pathetic, but thus far that's about the standard you've set for yourself.
  3. No, he really hasn't. Nor has the new guy. They've taken enough "mouth breather" abuse but...
  4. I'll let you know when that has an affect. Please hold your breath.
  5. He was paying us back for "The Comeback". That !@#$er still sees Andre Reed in his nightmares.
  6. Is that somehow different than you feigning condescension in a desperate attempt to seem above others? I guess you don't see the humor in U2 going "multi-national" to save their coin while attempting to get other governments to "pay their fair share" to end poverty. "Do as I say, not as I do, mother!@#$er."
  7. That'd be a lot more honest if the "new" guy wasn't carrying on with the same garbage that led to this mess in the first place.
  8. Nice work, ABC. You can't figure out how to market a show with Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli? Seriously? Feels like "Sports Night" all over again. Idiots.
  9. Ever since he got that REM album...
  10. If it walks like a duck... That's a really good one, grandpa.
  11. Nothing more than proof you're actually able to be correct on at least one thing. I was more referring to the "life without possibility of parole" people. Death row is supposedly pretty tame but the others "not so much".
  12. And dead on. Dock was a friggin' turnstyle last season. Absolutely terrible.
  13. There was a study about six or seven years ago that said it cost 3 times as much to execute versus incarcerate because of legal fees that are passed on to the taxpayer. I've always struggled with the death penalty thing but in the end I don't really like it because it gives the bureaucracy a whole lot of power. My biggest "pro" issue is the professional people who have to guard inmates who have no chance at freedom. What a rotten gig that has to be.
  14. Almost as humorous as you following me around like a little puppy begging for attention. The problem with assclowns like you is you pretend that anyone who bashes your ridiculous political ideology is automatically a partisan for the other side. That, of course, is the reason America continues the inevitable spiral downward. All hail.
  15. You mean the same way the liberals did when the economy started tanking at the end of the Clinton administration? You partisan apologists have really long memories.
  16. One of the most recognizable voices in the world. The Bose Wave Radio commercials will never be the same.
  17. Yeah, let's wish for that. You know, so we can watch him play great in only 2 games a season. Mother!@#$ing Robert Royal.
  18. Why? That would make them way smarter than the people who vote for them and we know that's certainly not the case.
  19. It's not a talent issue. It is a coaching/leadership issue.
  20. The way this team has been run, we're lucky players will even visit. Taylor would have to be an idiot to spend the twilight of his career with this franchise when a team like New England was interested.
  21. Alaska will legalize it again. Whether Governor Palin vetoes it or not is another story.
