$15 Minimum Wage Battle Moves To Other Industries
Alaska Darin replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I read a story a few years back about someone who took a job in an Amazon warehouse. Let's just say that the metrics the company uses to keep/reward employees are a little more strict than what you'd see at your average big box store. This isn't the exact story I read but it's close enough. https://www.businessinsider.com/i-spent-a-week-working-at-an-amazon-warehouse-and-it-is-hard-physical-work-2013-12 -
Absolutely correct. The liberal media has had years to look into Kavanaugh. The best they got is an unhinged woman who is lying her ass off but probably believes her delusions and a few people who say BK, like most American college students and others of similar age, liked to drink. it reminds me of the BS around Clinton smoking pot. Who freakin’ cares?

That was one of the best at bats in a big spot that I have ever seen. Voit just kept fighting off pitches until he got one he could handle. That game was decided when the Yankees clinched home field. The young A's (who have maybe the best defensive infield I've ever seen) seemed a little overwhelmed by the scene in the Bronx.

If you start listening to the fans, you’re going to become one. Principles are one of the most important parts of real leadership. This is plainly an attempt at mob rule, much like Obamacare was. You sell two or three easy to understand points by hammering them incessantly, while ignoring anything even remotely reasonable. That’s why the dummies are able to talk about “preexisting conditions” this election cycle while ignoring that everyone is paying an average of about $20k a year for health care. Liberal partisans are literally the dumbest people on the planet.

I owned my last Silverado for 17 years and nearly 250k. Only thing I did besides scheduled maintenance was replace the fuel pump. Dude I sold it to is still driving it. -

I bought a brand new GMC Sierra All Terrain, fully loaded for $37k. I couldn't touch a Tundra for that. -
Sweet. Now he can get blown out by New England three times in a single season.

Josh Allen: A fawn in headlights
Alaska Darin replied to Wayne Arnold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This game was example number one why you don't start rookie QBs without complimentary talent. -
They made the playoffs because of their defense. For example, they won the first game in Pittsburgh 14-10 because the defense forced SEVEN turnovers. Imagine how insane this board would be if our defense forced 7 turnovers but Allen was benched for poor play but we still managed a win. Elway really struggled his rookie season but he showed flashes of how good he was going to be (the 3 TDs he threw in the 4th quarter against Baltimore being the most obvious example). He was a totally different QB his second season, which is how most people remember his early career.

Uh...no. Games: 11 Record: 4-7 Completions: 123 Attempts: 259 Completion Percentage: 47.9% Yards: 1663 YPA: 6.42 TDs: 7 Interceptions: 14 Rating: 54.9 Sacks: 28 Terrible completions percentage, half as many TDs as interceptions, less than one TD per start, etc. The final game of the season, they were getting beat in KC 41-3 because Elway threw 4 interceptions. He was not good his rookie season.

He really wasn't. I watched his first start on the road in Pittsburgh. He was horrible and had no idea what he was doing. Ended up getting yanked for Steve Deberg, who wound up winning the game for Denver. He finished his first season with sub 50% completion percentage and more than twice as many picks as TDs. There were certainly flashes of his potential but he was not good.
