  1. Somehow I think Gruden has an out if he's offered an NFL job. I don't see Ralph paying anyone AND paying Jauron.
  2. I don't think it was because of the infamous "we blew the whistle" thing. That's one of my pet peeves with the NFL. The officials blow the whistle on plays WAY too early. There was one yesterday in a game that would have been a TD (I forget the teams) but it was a turnover and the guy would have housed it only to have the ball returned to the spot of the recovery/interception. That **** is maddening to me.
  3. Cower is a !@#$ing moron and I doubt he's seen more of Edwards than the opener on Monday Night in New England. Dude knows absolutely dick about the NFL. I don't know if Edwards will ever overcome his penchant for checking down but the clock on his career is rapidly winding down if he doesn't.
  4. The only think I can figure is his helmet touched the ground but there were no real replays. He certainly didn't look down.
  5. A smart, lucid owner would have fired Jauron over the offseason. I just can't imagine Ralph waking up and tossing the guy aside when he's committed the money already. I think Jauron stays pretty much no matter what.
  6. No kidding. Edwards has the rest of this season to pull his head out of his ass or he's done here. Unfortunately, it looks like the BILLS have ruined another QB by running him out there behind a woeful offensive line for multiple seasons. My kingdom for a tackle. Or two. Or three.
  7. The problem is you don't know what is coached. Most of the time receivers run options based on pre-snap reads. It's more likely that someone read the wrong key and that is what led to the confusion.
  8. Our guys get injured because they're always on the field. The strength and conditioning coach isn't at fault for that.
  9. Byrd is terrible. He may grow into something but right now he's abysmal and that might be giving him credit. Wilson still looks like a receiver playing safety and is a far better special teams performer than a defensive player. We'd probably be better off bringing Troy Brown out of retirement.
  10. Not for nothing but the digs at LB on this team are overrated. Cover 2 defenses don't require studs nor will there ever be the money to pay them. Look at Indianapolis. The defense made more than enough plays to win yesterday but the offense hung them out to dry. Trentative was his normal self and the decision to draft Maybin over Oher looks more ridiculous as the season goes on. You can't have studs everywhere.
  11. If Gruden is in Buffalo and Ralph is in Detroit, that's probably the best news that BILLS fans could possibly hear.
  12. Making the government an option is the same as doing nothing. For whatever reason, no one is willing to actually alleviate the symptoms of what is going on.
  13. Not unless Ralph wants to be sued by "The Official Transportation Company of the Buffalo BILLS".
  14. Except it doesn't really work and saying you've "used it" isn't the same thing as understanding how it works. And if you don't think that America is being sucked down a socialist hellhole then you have almost zero understanding of what has been going on for the past half century. Because no one (politician/business/etc) is willing to actually address the issues, which has been my point all along. Everything you just talked about can be directly attributed to government involvement in making health care better. How exactly will the United States government fix health care just by writing a check when they haven't fixed education using the same mentality? Because partisan politicians and all who follow them are morons.
  15. Every time I see Maybin I'm reminded we passed on Oher.
  16. Belichick went for 4th-and-1 at his own 24 in the third quarter. The drive ended with the TD that put them up 26-10 and basically killed the Falcons thought that they could win the game. I don't think the BILLS were going to win even if they went for it on fourth and one but there was ZERO probability after that decision.
  17. This is how the "for profit" media works, regardless of subject. It used to be kinda fun to watch these things unfold but now it really bothers me.
  18. That's a pretty bold statement given that Brees has struggled significantly every time he's played in any kind if inclement weather. I'm not saying the BILLS will win or even make it close but saying "the weather won't matter" ignores Brees' history.
  19. You mean the way the tired way you resort sloganeering, deflection, and dismissal does? Spare me.
  20. Way to openly admit you're no longer in the journalism business.
