  1. I wouldn't blame that on Donahoe so much given the organization's track record before and since.
  2. Trading Peters would look pretty brilliant if the BILLS had picked Oher at 11 and then Woods/Levitre. That would have been monolithic.
  3. I don't think this team is as far off as some do. A competent coach like Schottenheimer would have them in the thick of it right now because they wouldn't have passed on Oher for Maybin and moved Langston to LT. They also would scrap the Cover 2 and stop the ridiculous George Wilson experiment.
  4. I'm pretty sure Thurman's allegiance to Ralph Wilson ended at about the time he read about his release on ESPN. He can say whatever he wants, especially when he's dead nuts correct. At this point I'd rather the team leave than continue to be the national joke it currently is.
  5. I didn't say he didn't show physicality or skill. I said he looked lost. There were numerous times when he was the weakside defender and he either didn't play his responsibility or left his responsibility far too early. If you have the tape, go back and watch the first penalty kill he played on. The kid has talent you can't coach and the things I didn't like will go away with experience. It's not a big deal but I'm not wearing rose colored glasses where he's concerned. If Saturday night was an indication, don't be surprised when he's back in juniors in 8 more games.
  6. We've been in the running for most of Ralph's tenure. He does enjoy our money, though.
  7. Your implying that the BILLS have some kind of plan.
  8. I would too if I were starting a team but night-in/night-out Whitney is more consistent than Staal. Probably to be expected given Whitney's experience.
  9. Yeah and I'm not surprised that you don't understand why or that your rationale has to include Barack Obama. This is PPP - personal attacks are part of the territory and if you can't hack it, feel free to leave. There is, however, a thread about not circumventing the language filter brought to you by the very dude who owns the site. I'd ask you to focus but I know that's very difficult for you.
  10. I wish it was as simple as replacing the coach but somehow I doubt Ralph finally wises up.
  11. Nice world view. Ballsiness? That's really funny. People with guts don't quit when the going gets tough. They don't look like complete fools who can't answer simple questions from a hack like Couric. They don't need John McCain to sit next to them and fight their battles in the second interview. Sarah Palin used to be a tough, no nonsense politician. I admired her for taking on the ridiculously corrupt and entrenched Republican party of Alaska. That Sarah Palin would NEVER have run for Vice President and certainly wouldn't have quit as governor. Wow, that's quite a feat given pretty much any type of conservative person or thought gets the Bishop Hedds of the world all a tizzy. Big win there. Those are your criteria but you don't worship her? Just so you know, the next time you subvert the language filter I will be the guy who sends you on vacation.
  12. The difference is the organizations they played in. Edwards is David Carr with the Texans. You just don't build a team this way. OLine isn't last and no team throws out all 5 starters in one offseason and replaces them with rookies, especially a non-drafted LT. It's just maddening.
  13. The Peters deal wouldn't have been a big problem if they'd picked Oher instead of Maybin. That was the dumbest part of the whole situation. We could have set 3 OLine positions for the next decade in this draft but instead took a 235 pound DE. It's much the same deal as passing on Mangold for McCargo (bust? ). The no brainer was Mangold.
  14. I've been asking myself the same question since his second interception. I don't know what Jauron is thinking but it's time to stop coddling the kid and send the message that he's got to perform or he's done.
  15. Not the game I watched. He spent a good portion of it looking pretty lost.
  16. It was under the tab "wait until we're down 3 TDs with virtually no chance of winning". WTG, Perry. Coming up small in the winnable games. As usual.
  17. Too bad Reed makes 2 or 3 catches each week on routes Evans wouldn't/couldn't run ever.
  18. It's a little early to christen Myers as much of anything but the BILLS totally suck, which I expected going into the season.
  19. Nice half time adjustments. Who'd have thought with a rookie QB they'd throw mostly short passes and pound their running game? Good work, Hank Bullough and company.
  20. We only run screen passes in the red zone where it can blow up and kill real chances to score points.
