We took Aaron Williams over Andy Dalton

I'm pretty sure Wanny could have turned Deon and Mike Haynes into borderline awful CBs. -
Red Robin has regular burger creation "specials". Some of them are phenomenal. My favorite ever was the "Berzerker" burger. It was had zesty aioli, spicy pickles, Sriracha onion straws, Cheddar cheese on a brioche bun. Spicy and fantastic. There fries are Ok, not spectacular but they are bottomless.

I didn't knock his ring skills but you're going to have a tough time marketing the guy to a mass audience. Like I said, he's no Lesnar in that regard. The "Brown Pride" tattoo alone bothers a large segment.

Everything entertainment-wise is cyclical. The two big issues with the UFC at this time are the lack of a truly marketable heavyweight to scare the bejesus out of the populous and the lack of feuds. When Lesnar was in the game, it gave a lot of people reason to tune in. Granted he was mostly a circus act and fell off dramatically after diverticulitis almost killed him, but he was an easy sell. Cain is a great MMA fighter but he's just not Lesnar. The Ortiz/Shamrock and Ortiz/Liddell feuds were easy to hype and sell. There were other long standing stories from Pride and other old UFC events like Silva/Rampage, Trigg/Hughes, Penn/Hughes, etc that sold themselves. There was interesting guys out of the Ultimate Fighter television shows who were making names for themselves. The biggest issue the UFC is facing is marketing the new talent. A whole bunch of the most recognizable names in the sport were on their way down when the sport was reaching its peak and there simply hasn't been enough time to build up those behind them. There's too many new fighters and too many new weight classes. Market saturation, if you will. We also don't have any real "bad boys". It's becoming a very corporate/professional sport and there's no real "love 'em or hate 'em" guys like Ortiz to send the PPV numbers rocketing up. Right now the only person who kinda fits is Rousey and no offense, but I could care less about watching her "fight". The talent level has NEVER been higher, all across the sport. The best evidence of that was watching Matt Hughes, who was on a slide of his own, just devastate Royce Gracie.

C'mon, what's 14,000,000 people losing their insurance because of a poorly constructed law? The Dummies kept the Executive! -
Sabres' game winning goal tonight LOL
Alaska Darin replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Actually, that's not true. The NHL has put in a rule to give the refs yet another out for their incompetence. They can simply say "we intended to blow the whistle" and wave off any goal they want to. Rest assured, if that had been any Canadian team or one of the big market American teams that "goal" would have been waved off. Luckily for the Sabres, it was Phoenix. Of course, if it had been the Miller with the puck in his pants it would have been a goal as well. We're pretty much a better drawing version of the Coyotes when it comes to how the officials treat us. -

They may be tired of it but they continue to vote incumbents back in at a clip higher than the national average. -
That's awesome.

Richardson is a far more dominant player and plays pretty much every down. He's had a monster year.

At this point in time, it looks to me like Manuel is still afraid to throw guys open - he seems to want to everyone to be "college open", which doesn't happen nearly as often in the NFL. Lewis doesn't seem to have the same hesitation, though his accuracy is as big a question mark as it is for E.J. Lewis made good decisions most of the day today but he wildly overthrew some guys deep who were open.

Don't worry about it. It's a good law that will eventually get fixed and become great. Like the tax code. Sincerely, Liberals -
