I agree that if you were noticed 3x there was obviously many more that we don't know about. I don't think its that uncommon for guys between 18-22 to mix it up a bit, especially in a college atmosphere. I hope most would refrain from putting a label on anyone without knowing all the facts. As with anyone time will tell how he matures, and it goes to show that evaluating character is just as important and hard as talent.

He was a more talented COLLEGE player. Until hes played in the NFL hes nowhere near Stevie's level. Some players adjust and others falter with the transition to the NFL.

If spence sticks, it will be because of his versatility. Probably a best fit as 4-3 DT, or maybe DE on rundowns/goaline packages.

Yeah they have a long way to go. 1 player does not make them go from 27th(or whatever it was) to 1st....BUT its a huge step in the right direction. Stash is another huge step, a healthy kyle and year 2 marcel again, another step. This D on paper looks amazing. Lets all hope the injury bug crawls to some other team this year and the rest slides into place.. GO BILLS

The only position on a team that shouldn't always be subject to competition is QB after you have a solid starter. Competition in QBs breeds controversy and flip flopping the position has such a negative ripple effect on the whole team. Every other position is fair game, including running back and stars like freddie. I love freddie, but I hope he realizes spillers role is going to vastly increase.. as it should. If by chance we make it to the playoffs, freddie will be better off for having spiller take a big load anyways.

I would imagine the expectation for this season should be wildcard or bust. The pieces if healthy appear to be in place. Whatever amount of wins that is doesn't matter (9/10/11), but that should be the goal.
