I'd be fine with this type of move, provided we're not taking on long term salary. Chances are, we aren't spending all of this years available cap space, as we'll need some of it down the line to extend some of our younger players. So short term, if the player helps AND we get draft capital, absolutely. Same as all deals though, depends on the specific trade, but in general I'd be in favour.

Why would we want to give up Shady, who has another year left, and is the better player, for 8 games of Tate? You realize he's a UFA in the offseason right?

Giddy up! Obviously we need help on the offensive side of the ball, but you add elite talent whenever you can, because it's not easy to do.

Yesterday was a nightmare, and I'm all for looking for an upgrade, just not sure this is the guy.

I know he was a 10th overall pick a couple years back, but we do we know if he's actually any good?

I get that there's almost no chance of this happening, for a variety of reasons, but I can't help but get a little excited at the thought of Julio Jones tracking down bombs from Josh Allen.

I feel like Goodwin is a bit of revisionist history. He's gone on to have great success in SF, and certainly possesses the speed we could use now, but I don't think anyone was sad to see him go when he left. Certainly nobody was claiming we should have paid him. Bob Woods would've been nice, but I'm not sure I'd want him at what he got paid. Sammy is still the one I hate to see gone. Maybe he was divisive in the locker room and they needed him out, but from the outside looking in he was truly dynamic and a difference maker on offense. Imagine how good he'd look now with Benjamin on the side?

I think he’s been solid as a G. Was picked VERY early as a tackle, so from that perspective he was a major disappointment.

I like Settle as a player, but he’s more of a nose and we’ve already got Star. Harrison Phillips is the perfect Kyle replacement.
