  1. Wouldn't be an off season without the Bengals and Bills swapping some players...$16.5M though? Guess he didn't look horrible a couple of years ago, but last year wasn't pretty.
  2. Unless we have a specific plan to draft at least one, you'd have to figure we need another TE, and probably a LB. We'd also likely want to add to the defensive front (as evidenced by the Ansah visit), but that too can be accomplished through the draft.
  3. From what I've heard the restructure freed up $10.8M, giving them somewhere between $16-18M in room. They also need to sign their draft picks with that (although they don't have a 1 this year). Unless they both take a serious "contender" discount, it's doubtful they could afford Ansah AND Cook. So I guess we root for Cook to sign in New Orleans.
  4. Sounds about right to me. He may even push those numbers a little higher with AB drawing double teams. Better fit for the Raiders than the Bills right now.
  5. Understood, but you'd have to presume Tyrell wasn't signing anywhere without some guaranteed money.
  6. Didn't see this coming. I guess the reports about Mark Davis being out of cash were inaccurate. Still, odd signing after adding Brown, even for a guy that looks like he's straight out of a Dumb and Dumber flick.
  7. Garafello did a 30 second take that was re-run hourly. There was never any group discussion on the Bills, no correspondent in Buffalo (like Indy, Cleveland, NY, etc). Literally nobody else commented on any of the Bills moves.
  8. So likely puts us around $30M left? And we'd want to have $15M or so for draft picks and filling out the roster. I guess we could sign one more impact player (Ansah?), or two more borderline starter types?
  9. Last night was hours of it too. No mention of the Bills adding 8 players, just round the clock OBJ trade talk.
  10. So is it accurate (based on reports) to say it's down to the Jets, Texans, and Bills? Or am I missing somebody?
  11. So if Ingram is going to Baltimore, they're out. Who is left? The Jets, Packers, Texans, and Bills?
  12. I think one of the benefits of this deal is it gives us flexibility. We could add another G or T in FA or the draft, whatever the best option that comes up.
  13. Makes some sense, but that O-line is horrible. I guess with all that space they have room to add a couple of guys, but right now I'd say that line is worse than the Bills on paper.
  14. Given the money, I guess he's a short term starter at RT.
  15. Again, I don't think it's happening, but Shady's off the cap after this season, and we were never going to spend every little bit of cap space, so it's do-able from that standpoint.
  16. He'd be a HUGE addition to our offense, but I'm not getting my hopes up, it's pretty doubtful that he's coming. I think the Bills may have made a call to check in, doing due diligence, and are now being used to help create a big market for Bell.
