Ok, tall, but all are in the 260-270 range, which isn’t big by NFL DE standards.
If I’m not mistaken, Smith is a similar size, and despite being a 3-4 LB, he plays edge and rushes the passer most snaps.
I liked the signing at $4M per year, thank god Beane is running the show and got it done at half that!
With Beasley likely moving on, Lil’Dirty should have a larger role in the offense and helps create matchup problems with his speed.
I’m totally fine with Engram as a slot/extra TE. I’m not ok with the $ amount floated with this rumour $7-8M. At $2-3M he’s worth it as a backup/reclamation project.
He makes $9M, he’s not cheap. Would be great to have the ability to keep both, but at what cost? If it prohibits us getting a pass rusher? Or a solid interior lineman?
Simply put, because they play the same role in offense and next year we’re going to have to make some tough choices due to the cap.
If cap room wasn’t an issue, they’d obviously keep both, despite the fact they rarely see the field together.
I keep seeing the Bills as an 87 online, but they remain an 81 overall for me. I have the updates and the players are the same ratings as the OP posted.
I’m on PS5, is that the difference? They were also an 81 for me on PS4 last year (putting them middle of the pack, despite how good they are).
With Addison, Star, and Sanders not likely back next year that avg can change pretty quick. The core of our team are all either young or right in there prime. The older guys are the vets providing experience.
I actually think it’s a great mix.
Sanders ran a 4.41 way back in the day. He’s also a better route runner who has consistently out produced Brown over his career.
Don’t lose any sleep over this.
Fair point. I'll admit I'm not qualified to assess the impacts either makes on coverage units, I was simply suggesting the argument for Kumarow is easier made by his usefulness on offense. As opposed to the poster suggesting we'd have numerous injuries at WR.
RB's can also get injured. I think the better arguement for keeping Kumerow over Jones is his unique skillset. He can be a real quality red zone threat on offense with his height. Jones really brings nothing other than special teams.
I hope not, but seems they are all based on the comments by the Eagles broadcaster.
Even Will Selva reported it on Good Morning Football this morning but credited the broadcaster.
