    How about former Bill  DT Quinton Jefferson?   I know he wasn't great while here, but he'd be a decent rotational DT at least.

     

    He has 6 sacks last year in 14 games with NYJ.  He is currently on the Browns


    DE Za'Darius Smith +  DT Quinton Jefferson as a package would be quite helpful to us


    Raiders DT John Jenkins is 35, but a massive space eater 


    DT Linval Joseph, Bill last year is now 36 but on the Cowboys.  Maybe they'd be willing to move him for a 6th? 

    Broncos DT D.J. Jones, ESPN thinks he could be moved due to being in the last year of his deal.  If Denver was willing to eat $, this would be a quality addition

    IMO, unless Oliver returns to playing like he did last year and DaQuan Jones is healthy and playing how he's capable of in January,  it's going to be very difficult to beat top AFC teams 
     

    If Linval was the run plugger we needed, the Cowboys wouldn’t let him out of the building. I was excited when he signed last year, but he really wasn’t impactful. I think his best days are behind him.

    hard to think they invest anymore resources in the safety position this year.

    It’s not that they don’t have enough safeties, it’s that they don’t have good enough safeties. 
     

    We all know it’s a position McD values more than most coaches. 
     

    That said, if I were a betting man, I think Micah returning is more likely than a trade for a S.

    Not sure White helps. He’s been benched in Philly, and wouldn’t get on the field ahead of Bernard or Williams. Plus we have Milano returning at some point (hopefully). 
     

    The only way it makes any sense is if Bernard went down with something serious. Can’t see McD bringing in a LB to start short term. He’d probably just go with Spector or Andreeson.

    Ok, agreed, it’s his processing speed. Thought you were referring to his ability to run.

    Yeah. These rookie tryout players try to get multiple invites. So few get invited to training camp. Andreesen was the rare bright spot for UB last year. He's a player McDermott likes. Non stop attacker.

    Hope the Chiefs mini camp is first! 
     

    I guess they don’t get the whole playbook? I hate to be the conspiracy guy, but the Patriots have proven anything is possible.
