With the 48th pick in the 2025 NFL Entry Draft the Miami Dolphins are proud to select Marcus Mbow T, Purdue. After having addressed pass rush in the 1st round, we were looking at the secondary and o-line as areas to address. Given the talent available we felt Mbow has a chance to step in and play right away at an area that’s needed help for some time. @Logic and the Bengals are now on the clock.

With the 13th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins select Jalon Walker, Edge, from Georgia. Miami was tempted to address needs in the secondary, but couldn’t pass up the upside of the young edge rusher in this spot. @CNYfan and the Colts are now on the clock.

With the 102nd pick of the 2025 NFL draft the Detroit Lions are proud to select G Dylan Fairchild of the Georgia Bulldogs. After addressing the d-line in rounds 1&2 (Harmon & Sawyer) Dan Campbell continues to address the trenches in round 3.

The Detroit Lions are proud to select, from The Ohio State University, DE Jack Sawyer. Having added Harmon in round 1, the Lions have now solidified their defensive line for years to come. We envision Sawyer playing across from Hutchison, with McNeil and Harmon wreaking havoc up the middle. The Commanders @Ralonzo are now on the clock. Honestly no. I like Campbell a lot and think he can develop into an excellent versatile player. But to be honest, the pick seemed like a great blend of need and value. We know Campbell really prioritizes line play, and have done so on the defensive side with our first two picks.

I think Nolan is the BPA, but not a great fit beside Ed. I voted Amos as he’s a better fit.

Sal is reporting the deal is actually $69M over 4 years. Even better!

Texans may be out, they traded for Kirk and are apparently concerned about paying another receiver more than Nico. If the Chargers aren’t in, is there another warm weather contender that’s possible? Or does DK start to expand his search?

McD should definitely be in consideration, and may even win depending on how the rest of the season unfolds. However, it’s understandable how he’s not getting the national attention yet. As others have said, he’s got Josh and a perennial playoff team. Tomlin’s Steelers were expected to finally miss the playoffs this year. He’s got to be a favourite. Same with O’Connoll. Weren’t we all excited having the Vikings 2nd round pick, expecting it to be an early 2nd rounder? Coach of the year is usually a measure of how your team performs above expectations. McD has certainly done that, but maybe not to the same degree as Tomlin or O’Connell (because the bar was already high even if this was to be a “rebuild year”).

Given where we are picking each round these results are great!

If Linval was the run plugger we needed, the Cowboys wouldn’t let him out of the building. I was excited when he signed last year, but he really wasn’t impactful. I think his best days are behind him.

It’s not that they don’t have enough safeties, it’s that they don’t have good enough safeties. We all know it’s a position McD values more than most coaches. That said, if I were a betting man, I think Micah returning is more likely than a trade for a S.

Not sure White helps. He’s been benched in Philly, and wouldn’t get on the field ahead of Bernard or Williams. Plus we have Milano returning at some point (hopefully). The only way it makes any sense is if Bernard went down with something serious. Can’t see McD bringing in a LB to start short term. He’d probably just go with Spector or Andreeson.

Provided you can negotiate an extension that works cap wise (in advance) I’d give 2 1sts for him. He’s a true difference maker with many good years remaining. We’re unlikely to get anyone who can make near his impact picking in the late 1st.

Ok, agreed, it’s his processing speed. Thought you were referring to his ability to run.

Hasn’t looked good, but speed is definitely NOT the issue.
