Worst moves assuming he had control 1) what the he!! is Brandon Spikes doing on this rooster. 2) What could he possibly be thinking with Percey Harvin 3) Druggie Dareus should have been canned 2 suspensions and 1 fat spell ago and sent a message to all players

Why would anyone want Hoyer, he couldn;t help flippin Cleveland. As for Cutler he is the biggest coward and flake in the NFL, has anyone actuallt watched him Bears fans hate him, he is fragile, cannot take a hit, throws more interceptions than any starter. There are few QBs in the NFL that are available better than TT. He is the best we have had in a generation. Not good enough, but the best for a long time. No other QB on our rooster in the past 15 years could you feel may continue development and survive the third season. He is past the dreaded 2nd starting year and was at least as good as the first. He is durable. Give the team an O line and a coach and let him stay and do the job.

Sully: Bills aren't exactly doing a coaching star search
Niagara Bill replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sully may be right, but his cred is so bad he becomes unbelievable. His contract with the Patriots and Red Sox runs out soon so retirement is coming, thank goodness. I am sick of his " Bastin " accent. He has done his job for Belicheat for a long time now..to undermine Bills nation, to influence the outcome of the fans support, to confuse Bills Nation. He will soon be recalled to the homeland. He has hid in the patriots embassy (Buff News) undermined our efforts at every turn. His greatest coup was the Flutie Johnson feud, taking 2 starting QBs and future hall of famers out of Buffalo at once. He has successfully taken the guy who saved this franchise ( Pegula) and in 2 years reduced him to Ralph status. -
this discussion belongs in the media debate. So the real question is......if you want to believe this statement by Ty Dunne, JUST WHO WAS THE D PLAYER WHO SAID THIS. Rob Ryan is gone, Rex is gone. So what has the player got to lose. The old sources said.....bu??sh?t . We have no idea if this is fact or fiction. If it is fact then why couldn't the player have said this during the season if he is not identified. Typical reporting...or is it just an opinion by Dunne. Ty is not the only reporter who does this, happens at levels (national and local), but this types of reporting differs little from speculation. (by the way...it is believable just not credible.)

if you don't watch then why comment? this was incredible, couldn't have been a better choice. The relationship was strong. The Buffalo media should take a lesson from the pro. You can always give commentary based on fact if you are respected...atta boy Chris he is truly a professional and entertaining to.

Have folks already given up on Cardale?
Niagara Bill replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Give up on Cardale Jones!!!!! Really. If anyone actually has strong hope here is delussional. Why not just draft the QB from Lackawana High and expect him to develop and spend time worrying about it. I have little hope for Cardale, that does not mean I want the Bills to cut him, but working with him is a matter for GOOD coaches over a period of time to see what raw talent can be controlled. Oh yeah...that is what Baltimore did with TT and we paid for that effort to get him. -
Along with Howard Cosell and Don Meredith, Berman had perhaps the biggest impact on the NFL broadcasts and viewership. In part the NFL is what it is, in terms of viewership today. His style and perspective will always be fondly remembered. His presence at the Hall of Fame presentations were priceless. I will miss him but the "Schwami" says it is time to go. The Taxi driver awaits.

His Detroit teams were out of control and undisciplined and full of Dareus types he has been out of control...he is not a leader, he is a coordinator

The Buffalo media in a sentence.
Niagara Bill replied to turftoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not reporters...they write opinion columns from afar no different than we do for nothing...and Warren Buffett pays many of them to do it. So we are dumb to read and listen to it -
Don't understand all the fuss about Whaley and Pegs
Niagara Bill replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you are 100 percent right. The national media break almost every story because the locals have no relationships, even with the players. If TT gets a bruised toe some national guy mentions it and never credits a local reporter. The locals debate rumours they create, never facts. By the way, do you think that Rex and Pegula discussed Whaley's future since they have the same reporting structure. I hope not, so why is it so hard to think Whaley was in on the Rex decision. It was not a hi-bred structure, it was a pure structure. -
Quit blaming everyone except the guy who created this. Consider It was reported 3 weeks ago that Rex told Lynn he would be the next head coach Rex has weekly meeting with Pegula, private if he wants without Whaley He may have had one with Pegula 3 weeks ago and may have been advised that missing the playoffs would bring on a serious review of his status Pegula may have said less than 50/50 chance to survive before Jets game he by all reports had a private call with Pegula where he likely gave Pegula an ultimatum and Pegula bit and said you are gone, and with that attitude you may as well leave now. Or perhaps they told him of the TT decision and that brought on a power play by Rex and Pegula pushed the button. easy to see that Whaley was not part of this Easy to see that the organization is not strong and united Rex walks with lots of money, once again burning a bridge in an uncompleted job. Pegula still has lots of money. Whaley has grief but likely more power...that is OK with me, no owner should have a head coach work for him. If you want a team organization to have cohesion the coach has to work for the GM, ask Polian

The most incredible day a fan could have. Sat in what was then section D, south corner , scoreboard end. My brother in law left at half time to drink beer in the parking lot. .....hahaha, Two huge memories 1) how the players on the sidelines were into the game as a TEAM 2) Darryl Talley

AJ McCarron ready for a trade

Seriously, the only winner he is involved in is his girl friend. He is a wash out -
What you saw today is what we are without Tyrod.
Niagara Bill replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This game was over on the first play when EJ had to stand and stare at the sidelines looking for the play....the first fuuggin play....6 days of preparation, and Lynn and his boys cannot give the QB a play to run without out thinking the other defence because they JETS are so smart????? The first step in playing football is to do what you do best until the other team stops you on a regular basis. A QB on a winning team NEVER stands starring at the sidelines trying to hear a play call -

Why is it that nobody loves Sam Bradford???? there must be a reason as he moves from team to team I for one would prefer TT to Bradford -

Niagara Bill replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is not a better QB available in the NFL so TT has to stay and the drafting or development of Jones is the only way to proceed. Impossible to get a QB in a trade who would be better than TT (think Bledsoe) Sign him and coach the team to 10 wins like so many other teams do. Denver, is an example. -

EJ sitting alone onn the bench. real leaders, real QBs stand on the sidelines, helmet in hand ready to take revenge and lead the O back. he is DONE ....finally -
Rex has always been a players coach which translates into real life as 1) he plays favorites always 2) he makes excuses for some and punishes others who don't follow him like a disciple 3)he keeps his favs way to long ( such as Spikes) who do not earn their keep, and gives his special friends more chances (Harvin types) 4) he uses his favs to spy on the team and pass messages to the team and thus splits the team. You can have players who lead and teach on the field but the message cannot be created by the head coach so they become just a pipeline. 5) cuts players who he should keep likely because he gets info from his spys (Hogan comes quicklt to mind) Rex had the same issues at the Jets, his father had the same issues and split the team eventually I have no direct proof of this but we have all seen it and if it smells like a dead fish it likely is a dead fish. Good Bye Rex, you may know football but you aren't a leader and never will be.

With E.J getting the nod this week?
Niagara Bill replied to fansince88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TT is a serviceable and perhaps a decent QB. He survived the dreaded 2nd season and came out better than last year in my opinion. The issue is does his skill match the money his agent believes he deserves. IMHO, everyone would support him as a keeper if he was paid $10M per. until we found the young QB who may be better. Maybe Jones, unlikely EJ but Sunday will show us something of EJ. EJ has a real issue with the short pass, not sure he can be fixed. -
Marcell Dareus' thoughts on Rex Ryan's firing
Niagara Bill replied to Wayne Arnold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am not knowledgeable enough to comment, but do we know anyone that can describe the complexity of Rex's D with that of the Patsy's. I hear players talk about on field communication being too complex, but how does that relate to Belicheats who has been through numerous D coordinators and have not lost much. They seem to plug and play. -
hold it, he might be a real asset, since we all know Rex is a players coach and can rehab any player with love. We also need to keep a rooster spot for Spikes again. Spikes, Harvin, Bush, maybe Fitzpatrick could come to the party, and Aaron Williams could join in...wow this Rex is a genius.
