  1. Carolina Panthers first game at the Ralph.

    Frank R qb.

10 yr old son burned his hand at tailgate on hot pan. Stadium first aid treated him.

We sat on 50 yr line row 1.

    23 to 9 for Bills

At end of game TT came over to my son and gave him his game gloves.

Next summer in Fredonia TT asked him where the other glove was when he got it autographed. (Left at home so as to not lose both).

My son is 33 now and the gloves hang in a frame in a place of honor.

Every time I see TT supporting Buffalo I recall these days.

  2. TT has proven to be an incredible player, a team mate second  to none, a great friend of many, a huge supporter of Buffalo and the Bills, an ever present personality at many events, charities and exhibitions, a guy who gets Buffalo, and a very kind person.

For a young man with a bad knee who we drafted when others slept, did we ever get a bargain.

I am very proud of the Bills today.

I have been proud of TT for years

  3. Cannot even comprehend the challenges Jim and family have faced. I know he and Jill and family are tough, and have turned all the dark times into a positive for many....but another challenge of this type...wow.

I know three things for sure......

    1) as a fan Jim is the greatest leader the Bills and perhaps the community has ever had

    2) as a person I will ensure I will send as much positive energy, love and prayers as I can to Jim and his family

    3) If there is anyone in the world who can take this incredible terrible news and make the world a better place as a result it is Jim and Jill and their family.

    Prayers and love

  4. thanks to SDS and all the mods for many years of dedication and patience.

It would take weeks to list all the interesting  points of history...

TBD and SW allowed me to meet some great friends...and share love of the Bills. Certainly the site has been a major contributor to the growth of the Bills fan base  in spite of such challenges as Hog Boy etc etc....(oh so memorable). (haha)

    Happy Birthday TBD.

Better days are here.  Dust off the grill, throw on the zubaz and get back on that horse.

might do that///the post was suppose to allow those who have been fans attending games for years a memory of old things they may remember. Maybe I was a bit to melancholy, but who is a real fan and doesn't have too many tailgators shirts....in their drawer.

maybe McD will bring back the days when we can stroll along Jim Kelly Blvd with our chins up. If he does maybe I will visit Hammers.

That really is awesome.....it's true heart break year after year....and I understand the utter despair as a fan you must feel to pour your heart and soul into something that extends beyond the football field, beyond a tailgating lot, and into the homes and lives of the people we come to call friends through this medium of football....I am empathetic as I've been on the brink of throwing up my hands and walking away....it's hard to explain this draw, this magnetic determination to keep circling back to the flame of football, but it's there...and despite the anguish it's brought us as fans, we pine for it's return the moment the season ends, like an evil lover whose damage is deep but whose desire runs deep....hopefully, this means you'll come back around and stay again....but I (and I'm sure others) understand if this was just a momentary lapse in judgment while your logical self tells you to - RUN.

Bills games gave me some of the best memories in my life....fans, friends, passion, beer, cheer, emotion, and today as I opened the cupboard they all came flooding back.

    thanks for realizing that.

maybe next year I will end my self imposed exile...

  6. After 17 years Dick Jauron pushed me into the decision to drop my tickets in 2010. He was last in a string of frustrations at the time even though he had been fired.

today....I started a clean out of a chest where many of my Bills clothing has been stored. I counted 29 tailgators T shirts. some of you will remember the following sayings.

    Fu?? the 49ers

    Pee-on Deion

Miami has lost their Cox and now they will lose their Johnson

    It's all about the Rush

Tailgators go Deep...keep your driver alive

    Tailgators do it best OUTDOORS

    Bury da Bears

Tailgators, Old no. 69....goin' down with a quality finish everytime

Tailgators gab life by the balls

    D'fence wins championships

Tailgators...Mines Huge...how BIG is your game.

A long with these....3 pairs of zubaz pants...1 pair of zubaz shorts....too many sweat shirts, t-shirts, coats, ponchos, blankets to count.

also located...2 copies of the Canton Newspaper, sealed in airtight bags from the day Jim Kelly joined the Hall. Posters from that day.

    A smiling picture with Reuben

    gloves autographed by Thurman

an autograph book my son always took to Fredonia.

9 jerseys...including Todd Collins (I apologize for that)....2 boxes of Flutie flakes (sorry for that to).

Eric Moulds jersey I wore once...he got hurt and my tailgate partners would never let me wear it again.

    etc.....

and many many fond memories of all the great fans I tailgated with....Debbie, Bob, Phil, The King. etc etc.

memories flood back of hugs with strangers...beer at 7 am, turkeys roasting in the garbage can, ribs, Italian Sausage at 7 am, ...shots, the sun rising over the stadium on a frosty morning.

I have not been back since....I still have my portable Weber BBQ....maybe next year.

It’s a different day and a new era.  The NFL has more severely punished individuals who retaliate.  What Gronkowski did was inexcusable.  To say Kyle Williams should have done something in response suggests that he play down to Gronk’s stupidity by retaliating.

I admire Jim Kelly for his play but on this one he is wrong.

Cannot be more disagreeable with you on this.

The league will not take appropriate action so the team must.

White was not only down but out of bounds. We have all seen hits that were more violent....but none where the player was both down and out of bounds. The Patriots TE ( I refuse to give him the pub he desires) brings the streets to Orchard Park. The appropriate response was a foot to the face as he was getting up. That would have been equal street justice to a street hit. Next week he will be on TV telling stories about being a good guy at a kids hospital and the media will be kissing has butt.

He should be gone for the remainder of the season.

  8. We gave up nothing in these transactions. Watkins was only potential, still unproven that his skills are capable of being on the field when needed. Darby can play but has not demonstrated he is a top CB.

This team needs players who can show up and can lead. Sammy types who over estimate their impact cause turmoil with their expectations. " Give me the ball !!!!! I showed up this week so you should all be thankful. ".

  9. Because it's a pain in the ass crossing the border when it's work/business related. You get the customs agent having a bad day and you'll be stuck there for hours, even if all your paperwork is in order.

100 % correct. If you had a careless driving charge at age 19 it still stops your entrance into US at age 60 and also the other way around. Ludicrous.

  10. Hopefully this clears the air a bit. I am a Him. 33 years old. Lived in South Buffalo for 20 if those years, then moved to Silver Creek. Season ticket holder since 2006. Far from a fin fan in disguise.

OK now just learn the secret codes and your in. ops...and make sure you understand SDS is King.

    welcome aboard Bills fan.

  11. appears to not only to be his/her first post but maybe the last....no response yet. Not a thank you, not a nice to be here, not a GFY.

Maybe Creekside is not really by the creek....maybe this is the old Pigboy...back from Nigeria looking for money for the Nigerian Prince scam....or worse...a Dolphin fan in disguise....Adam West died so I know it is not the real Batman..See ya later Creekside...same bat time same bat web site...look forward to reading your opinions and thoughts...

harsh, well, not really, seemed more disturbed to me.

I am a man who has traveled nearly 56 years through this life and I know that choices

can lead to consequences and also can lead to hard lessons.

I am a man of chances and as long as there is a chance, I'll give the benefit of doubt.

he is a young man that has another chance, with a pretty solid coaching staff.

can I say he'll succeed, no, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of doubt.

have a good day and GO BILLS!!!

Dareus does not have 56 years...he has maybe 10 in football and as such cannot afford to waste the talent, on pot, or drugs or crying about things. and challenging the rules. He has many years after his 10 to screw up all he wants. His teammates work hard to play the game and he lets them down by not playing and facing suspensions etc. He takes up a huge portion of the cap. He has responsibilities and time the little boy grew up.

We have no choice but to give him another chance and I hope he is successful. But we have been down this road before and I am not prepared to forgive or forget until he actually does it.

  13. This is one of the worst posts in the history of this board. I'd say more but I don't want to get banned.

Guy has had a very tough life. He obviously needs to grow but literally every main adult figure in his life has passed away. If you can't feel any sympathy for him, you're a sad human being.

So Biscuit he has had a tough life and that allows him to opportunity to lie to his teammates, the Bills and the fans.

As a good ol' social worker you are, exactly how many more times does he get to screw up. A one year suspension, one more year of being out of shape,

lets see what you say when the next time he peas in a cup. And by the way, everyone seems to think this is a pot issue. Where did that come from. Not the league.

He has lied many time so how can you believe him.

In a career that last maybe 10 years...how many chances do you get.

This kind of sounds like a poem.. or a rap song. Flows nice and somewhat rhymes!

thanks, you are right. sounds best sung to the music of "Cry me a River"

  14.

I'm happy for the young man.

seems he's heading in the right direction, which wont be a good thing for the opponent!

    GO BILLS!!!

you are happy for the young man. Get a grip. He is a ungrateful man. unable to face reality and has hurt this team dramatically. He used his mothers illness as an excuse his first year. Always another reason. He has abandoned his teammates. He has one interview and everyone is on his bandwagon. To me he has a lot more to prove than an interview staged by his manager. He has yet to even mention his lying to the fans and the Bills. He is making the rounds looking for good guy treatment for his next contract.

Dareus is one or two steps from being James Hardy.

He needs to shut up. Get in the gym. Get on the field for the next 2 or 3 seasons and prove he is a man and a teammate..

This to me is a smoke screen set up by his manager/agent.
